Teachers’ continuous usage intention for virtual reality (VR) technology is a prerequisite achieving its expected educational value in elementary and secondary education. Through comprehensive model considering task-technology fit (TTF) satisfaction, this study involved an analysis framework the of teachers to continue using VR classroom teaching. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 291 schools Jiangsu Province, China, identify factors affecting their technology. The results indicated that perceived usefulness ease-of-usage significantly impacted satisfaction. Surprisingly, satisfaction did not promote intention. System quality service were key influencing ease-of-use, respectively. Meanwhile, TTF promoted teachers’ while being positively affected by factors. Therefore, are more concerned about optimizing pedagogical effectiveness Thus, further applications teaching should focus improving application modes. Moreover, environment supporting autonomous ecology conduct VR-supported reform may be important

Virtual reality has been proposed as a promising technology for higher education since the combination of immersive and interactive features enables experiential learning. However, previous studies did not distinguish between different learning modes four-stage cycle (i.e., concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, active experimentation). With our study, we contribute deeper understanding how unique opportunities virtual can afford each four modes. We conducted three design thinking workshops with interdisciplinary teams students lecturers. These resulted in low-fidelity prototypes which were evaluated refined student focus groups. Based on these results, identify elements applications that an holistic process education. discuss implications results selection, design, use educational applications.

This paper investigates adopting metaverse in academic institutions based on a conceptual model. The proposed model was created to empower future perspectives of the system. Even though metaverses system just recently launched, few attempts have been made evaluate its impact educational sector. attempted determine by providing that encompasses innovativeness, context awareness, perceived enjoyment, ubiquity, complexity, and value. information gathered using an online questionnaire completed 953 people. findings indicate innovative environment can influence teachers’ students’ attitudes toward new technology. Understanding how functions as tool views regarding use technology, assisting higher education developing regulations enhance learning process. As result, study discovered moderating of’ innovativeness is critical since it contributes pervasiveness users’ perceptions show inventiveness important determining system’s effectiveness. However, apparent ubiquity appears less effective function promoting factors context-awareness, complexity enjoyment possess substantial adoption. Researchers gained some insight into university leaders current spread awareness about organizing seminars workshops, offering incentives for teachers it, allowing experts assist better understanding benefits.

The advanced visualisation and interactive capabilities make immersive virtual reality (IVR) attractive for educators to investigate its educational benefits. This research reviewed 64 studies published in 2016–2020 understand how science designed, implemented, evaluated IVR-based learning. design features (sensory, actional, narrative, social) originally suggested by Dede provided the framework analysis of IVR designs. Educators commonly adopted better aid abstract concepts enhance learning experience. applications tended have sensory actional features, leaving out narrative social features. Abstract As a teaching and learning medium, 360° videos offer new teaching-learning experiences. Through the possibility of immersion, individual panoramic images, multi-perspective viewing options interaction possibilities, they extend advantages conventional video technology. To understand potential using technology for educational processes, systematic literature review analyzed previous scientific articles ( N = 44) about interdisciplinary use according to PRISMA guidelines. In selection, particular emphasis was placed on conceptual distinction between virtual reality videos. By authors, are understood as specific format that has characteristics but is be distinguished from by necessary real recording situation without programmed environments. The results show mainly three purposes: presentation observation teaching–learning content, immersive interactive theory–practice mediation, external self-reflection. Combined with added value other such reality, five categories its medium were identified: increase motivation interest, learn in authentic realistic scenarios, experiences, opportunities learning.
