Summary: Background: This study examined the link between Life’s Essential 8 (LE8) metric and peripheral artery disease (PAD) prevalence in U.S. Patients methods: population-based prospective cohort analyzed data from 6,076 participants aged 20 years older National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) conducted 1999 2004. LE8 scores were categorized into low, moderate, high cardiovascular health (CVH) levels. Multivariable weighted logistic regression subgroup analyses performed to examine relationship CVH PAD, adjusting for demographic clinical variables. Results: In final analysis, a total of individuals included, with mean age 59.41±12.80 51.3% (n=3,115) being male. The PAD was 6.9% (n=418). After confounding factors, compared low CVH, those moderate had 34% lower risk (OR: 0.66, 95% CI: 0.53–0.82), 62% 0.38, 0.25–0.58). Conclusions: conclusion, we report that are associated higher among adults. These findings may contribute prevention strategies PAD.

A comprehensive assessment of combined modifiable risk factors with common complications type 2 diabetes (T2D) is lacking, and the potential role proteomics remains unclear. Here, we examine associations cardiovascular health (CVH) score degree factor control diabetic using data from UK Biobank (n = 14,102). Furthermore, explore mediation effects plasma in a subset proteomic 1287). Over median follow-ups 12.4–13.4 years, higher CVH are associated lower risks 30 22 45 adverse outcomes among individuals T2D, respectively. Mediation analyses reveal that mortality multiple vascular diseases share mediators, such as uromodulin pro-adrenomedullin. These findings highlight importance modification reducing disease burden people T2D facilitate understanding proteins underlying these associations. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between cardiovascular health (CVH), evaluated through Life's Essential 8 (LE8) score, and risk of new-onset age-related macular degeneration (AMD). longitudinal analysis included 271,274 participants who were free both diseases AMD at baseline. The LE8 score was classified into three categories: low (<50 points), moderate (50 <80 high (≥80 with higher scores indicating better CVH. Cox proportional hazards models used explore relationships CVH incidence. Furthermore, population attributable (PAR%) calculated for each individual metric. During an average follow-up duration 10.9 years, a total 7468 (2.8%) cases documented. Individuals levels had 14% (hazard ratio [HR] = 0.86; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.78-0.94) 23% (HR 0.77; CI, 0.69-0.86) reduced developing AMD, respectively. A linear dose-response relationship identified cumulative incidence AMD. Attaining optimal in all individuals could potentially avert 9.4% (95% 3.7%-15.1%) cases. Among metrics, ideal blood glucose pressure related reduction 3.3% 8.7% cases, Enhanced is significantly associated Promoting guideline might contribute prevention
