This study examines the adoption of agile in public administrations through lens Scandinavian institutionalism and translation theory. By conducting interviews 19 German administrations, we investigate how is translated into settings they address associated challenges. Our findings reveal three modes: stripped down to a cultural concept, as governance foster cross-functional collaboration, methodology, adhering closely its original values principles. This paper presents research on how knowledge brokers attempt to translate opaque algorithmic predictions.
