Allergic
conjunctivitis
is
characterized
by
the
development
of
pathophysiological
changes
to
ocular
surface,
which

pro-allergic
and
pro-inflammatory
mediators
interact

their

expressed

immune
nonimmune
cells.
Traditional
treatments
antihistamines
corticosteroids
provide
relief,
but
there
a
need

long-term

profile.
