The COVID-19 pandemic generated economic contraction across the world. In India, stringent lockdown led to extreme distress. unprecedented situation adversely affected women's efforts balance professional life with family because of a disproportionate increase in their domestic work burden and shift workstation home. Since every job cannot be performed remotely, women employed healthcare services, banks media witnessed additional risks commuting physical interaction at workplace. Based on personal interviews Delhi-NCR region, study aims explore commonalities variances challenges experienced by engaged diverse occupations. Using qualitative methodology flexible coding, finds that relatively larger section travelling office during pandemic, rather than those working from home, had an effective familial support system helped them navigate this tough time.

Background: Partner support and work–life balance (WLB) are important for families’ well-being. Previous research has linked perceived family support, WLB, satisfaction with food-related life (SWFoL); however, there is limited information regarding each parent’s from their partner. Drawing on the conservation of resources theory, work–home resources, actor–partner interdependence model (APIM), this study examined direct indirect effects parents’ partner SWFoL dual-income parents adolescents, considering moderating role gender-transcendent attitudes. Methods: A total 516 dual-earning one adolescent child were recruited in Chile using non-probability sampling. The completed scales measuring gender three members responded to Satisfaction Food-Related Life scale. data analyzed mediation APIM, structural equation modeling, multi-group analysis. Results: fit was robust (RMSEA = 0.016; SRMR 0.052; CFI 0.982; TLI 0.978). findings showed that mothers’ indirectly positively affected by fathers’ through both WLB. directly via adolescents’ In families where fathers exhibited low attitudes, relationship between WLB stronger. Conclusions: Thus, it can be concluded mediating significant, as facilitates transmission within individuals enhance SWFoL.
