Abstract This study explores the integration of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in informal digital learning English (IDLE) practices, focusing on its potential to enhance language outcomes and addressing technological challenges teachers face utilising AI-based tools facilitate second acquisition. Based research context IDLE holistic ecology drawing theoretical frameworks pedagogical content knowledge social cognitive theory, we performed a mixed-methods investigation with an empirical experiment assess effectiveness GenAI followed by semi-structured interviews. The results suggest that GenAI-mediated practices effectively improve college students’ oral proficiency from both humanistic perspectives. Esta nota examina el impacto de la inteligencia artificial (IA), particularmente modelo ChatGPT, en las investigaciones sobre Ciencias Sociales. Para ello, se lleva a cabo una revisión sistemática exploratoria identificando los principales artículos académicos publicados 2023 chatbot OpenAI y, más concretamente, su uso métodos investigación. Los resultados confirman existencia tres tipos conjuntos temáticos: (1) estudios ChatGPT y educación; (2) del como apoyo investigación; (3) información salud. This study aims to determine Yemeni EFL learners' potential opinions, benefits, and challenges regarding using ChatGPT as an AI-based writing tool in academic writing. A quantitative approach was employed this study. Data were collected through surveys distributed learners at the university level. The survey included questions about participants' perceptions experiences with ChatGPT. This study investigated the application of Kolb model to assess efficacy ChatGPT in enhancing English grammar learning. Data were gathered through interviews and observations. With the widespread use of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT in English writing, academic community has begun to pay attention its potential improving writing efficiency and quality. However, there is still a lack research on application actual teaching, especially terms grammatical accuracy integrity. This study aims explore impact role students’ efficiency, autonomous learning ability In study, students experimental group obtain suggestions, grammar revisions, content expansion other support during process.
