Skin cancer is the most frequently diagnosed globally and preventable. Various risk factors contribute to different types of skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous carcinoma. These encompass both extrinsic, such as UV exposure behavioral components, intrinsic factors, especially involving genetic predisposition. However, specific vary among types, highlighting importance precise knowledge facilitate appropriate early diagnosis treatment for at-risk individuals. Better understanding individual has led development scores, allowing identification individuals at particularly high risk. advances improved prevention strategies, emphasizing commitment mitigating impact cancer.

ABSTRACT Background Recently, microRNAs (miRNAs) have been applied as biomarkers for diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients. Early diagnosis and management of DLBCL can improve patient survival prognosis. Aims This systematic review meta‐analysis aimed to evaluate the diagnostic prognostic accuracy miRNA in Methods We used keywords “diffuse lymphoma” “microRNA” search databases original publications until June 14, 2023. Specificity, sensitivity, AUC were assess accuracy, value was assessed using overall (OS) progression‐free (PFS) hazard ratio (HR). A subgroup analysis performed based on sample type acquired investigate heterogeneity. Results Thirteen 33 studies included from 839 articles. The Reitsma bivariate model estimated a sensitivity 0.788 (95% CI: 0.733–0.834, p < 0.001), specificity 0.727 0.654–0.790, an 0.824 in. pooled 0.7385 0.6847–0.7923, 0.0001). Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, and its treatment poses significant challenges due to aggressive nature resistance conventional therapies. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) represent a new frontier in search for suitable targets control melanoma progression invasiveness. Indeed, lncRNAs exploit wide range regulatory functions along chromatin remodeling, gene transcription, post-transcription, transduction, post-transduction ultimately tune multiple cellular processes. The understanding this intricate flexible network orchestrated by pathological conditions can strategically support rational identification promising targets, speeding up setup therapeutics integrate currently available approaches. Here, most recent findings on involved will be analyzed. In particular, functional links between their mechanisms action some frequently underestimated features, like different subcellular localizations, highlighted.
