Objective: Up to 85.3% of patients with psoriasis experience sleep disturbance (SD). However, SD has not been characterized in Chinese psoriasis, and the factors that affect among adult remain unclear. This study was performed examine risk compared a control group healthy individuals identify contributing psoriasis. Methods: cross-sectional, questionnaire-based, case-control involving 142 participants controls. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) administered assess SD. Mild defined by Psoriasis Area Severity (PASI) body surface area (BSA) cut-offs <10, mild severe determined PASI BSA ≥10. Results: prevalence (PSQI score ≥6) 47.9% mean PSQI 6.1 ± 3.7, which higher than (4.9 2.5, P < 0.001). 1.669 times (adjusted odds ratio, 1.669; 95% confidence interval, 1.008–2.761; = 0.046) group. Abstract Background: Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory disorder affecting skin and joints, primarily individuals between 18-39 50-69 years, with prevalence which varies globally, significant comorbidities impacting quality of life. Psoriasis now recognized as systemic disease involving both genetic environmental factors. Comorbidities include cardiovascular metabolic disorders, underlining the need for further research tailored treatment in Colombia. Methods: This retrospective observational study analyzed data from Colombian Ministry Health's SISPRO database, focusing on over 15 years diagnosed psoriasis 2018 2022. Using ICD-10 codes, its comorbidities—such cardiovascular, metabolic, autoimmune conditions—were identified. Descriptive statistics characterized subjects, coexistence was assessed. Results: A total 115,725 were Colombia 2018-2022, yielding 2.89 per thousand, higher rates older populations. The examined associated psoriasis, founding strong association atopic dermatitis (PR 6.28), tinea unguium 6.05) tuberculosis 3.04). Comorbid conditions like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, dyslipidemia notably elevated patients, increased risks (PR) across multiple conditions. These findings highlight broad spectrum psoriasis. Conclusions: crucial first step understanding It underscores to better understand nature improve patient care strategies.

Background: Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder affecting 2–3% of the global population, and associated with several comorbidities, including psychiatric disorders. This study aimed to identify factors influencing anxiety, depression, quality life (QoL) in patients psoriasis. Methods: observational included 112 diagnosed Dermatological assessments were conducted using Psodisk, Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), Depression (HAM-D), Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R), 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36). Descriptive statistics, correlation analyses, multivariate regression models employed. Results: The sample was predominantly middle-aged males (mean age 48.91 years). Females (p < 0.001), arthritis 0.05), those sedentary lifestyle 0.05) showed higher anxiety depression scores. Psodisk subscales significantly correlated symptoms QoL measures 0.001). Abstract Psoriasis is an autoimmune skin disease that often co‐occurs with psychological morbidities such as anxiety and depression, psychosocial issues also lead psoriasis patients to avoid other people. However, the precise mechanism underlying comorbidity of unknown. Also, whether social avoidance phenomenon seen in human exists psoriasis‐like animal models remains In present study, anxiety‐like behaviours avoidance‐like were observed imiquimod‐induced C57‐BL6 mouse model along typical dermatitis itch‐like behaviours. The 11.7T resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging showed differences brain regions between control group, voxel‐based morphometry grey matter volume changed basal forebrain region, anterior commissure intrabulbar striatum mice. Seed‐based resting state connectivity analysis revealed changes amygdala, periaqueductal gray, raphe nuclei lateral septum. We conclude well suited for mechanistic studies performing preclinical therapeutic trials treating pathological patients.

Methods A total 185 psoriasis were surveyed assess their sociodemographic status, disease-related information, psychosocial QOL. questionnaires included questionnaire, Athens Insomnia Scale, Hospital Anxiety Depression Perceived Social Support Psychosocial Adaptation Questionnaire Chronic Skin Disease Dermatology Life Index.
