Hypertension is a recognized risk factor for Parkinson's disease (PD). The renin-angiotensin system (RAS) inhibitors are widely used to treat hypertension. However, the association of RAS inhibitor use with PD has still been an area controversy. Thus, we conducted meta-analysis investigate relationship between and PD. Abstract This study focused on the production of angiotensin‐converting enzyme inhibitory peptides (ACEIPs) from peanut meal ( Arachis hypogaea Linn) fermented by Lactobacillus pentosus . The fermentation process was optimized using response surface methodology with ACE activity as experimental indicator. ACEIPs were further purified after ultrafiltration and Sephadex G‐25 gel chromatography. effect different molecular weights (ranging 0.5 to 1.5 kDa) ACEIP investigated, a maximum rate 48.83% achieved. content 78.95%. Amino acid analysis revealed that hydrophobic amino acids accounted for 43.09% total content. Among identified acids, glutamic had highest 14.94%, followed leucine aspartic acid. Matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight–mass spectrometry (MS) liquid chromatography–tandem MS used identify selected ACEIPs, yielding six good stability high hydrophilicity.
