Abstract
Background
Depression
is
the
leading
cause
of
global
disability
and
can
develop
following
change
in
body
image
functional
capacity
associated
with
stoma
surgery.
However,
reported
prevalence
across
literature
unknown.
Accordingly,
we
performed
a
systematic
review
meta-analysis
aiming
to
characterise
depressive
symptoms
after
surgery
potential
predictive
factors.

events
in
personality
trait
development,

findings
appear
to
be
