Abstract The devastating impact of youth mental health concerns is increasingly evident on a global scale. This crisis calls for innovative solutions that are sufficiently accessible, scalable, and cost-effective to support diverse communities around the world. One such solution involves engagement in arts: incorporating building upon existing local resources cultural practices bolster health. In this article, we describe note major gaps knowledge needed address it. We then discuss potential arts- culture-based strategies help meet challenge, review mounting evidence regarding art’s ability health, call action undertake critical research its translation into accessible community practices. Four steps suggested: (1) elevate prioritize voice, (2) develop core outcome measures, (3) identify analyze successful models globe, (4) generate clear funding pathways translational efforts. Worldwide implementation will provide wellbeing flourishing countless across globe.

Abstract Evidence dating back a century shows that humans are sensitive to and exhibit preference for visual curvature. This effect has been observed in different age groups, human cultures, primate species, suggesting curvature could be universal. At the same time, several studies have found is modulated by contextual individual factors, casting doubt on this hypothesis. To resolve these conflicting findings, we conducted systematic meta‐analysis of investigated Our included 61 which provided 106 independent samples 309 sizes. The results three‐level random effects model revealed Hedges’ g 0.39—consistent with medium size. Further analyses moderated four factors: presentation stimulus type, expertise, task. Together, our suggest reliable but not universal phenomenon influenced factors other than perceptual information.

However, there limited understanding regarding whether how sharing a musical activity context modifies individuals' rewarding experiences. Here, we aimed at (1) modulating derived from under different scenarios (2) further investigating its impact on reward-related memory. Across three experiments, simulated socially shared found that participants' was significantly context, with higher reported for levels sharing. Furthermore, increased participants influenced outcomes, highlighting facilitating role boosted reward. Evaluative judgment-i.e., assessing to what degree a stimulus is liked or disliked-is fundamental aspect of cognition, facilitating comparison and choosing among alternatives, deciding, prioritizing actions. Neuroimaging studies have shown that evaluative judgment involves the projection sensory information reward circuit. To investigate whether judgments are based on modality-specific modality-general attributes, we compared extent which balance, contour, symmetry, complexity affect liking responses in auditory visual modalities. We found no significant correlation for any four attributes across modalities, except contour. This suggests primarily rely representations elaborated brain's cortices relayed circuit, rather than abstract representations. The individual traits art experience, openness desire aesthetics were associated with design compositional influenced liking, but inconsistently modalities also suggesting influences.
