Mangroves and their global significance in climate change based on the storage of blue carbon release CO2, CH4, N2O have attracted great attention. Microbial communities functions are essential for biogeochemical cycle (C), nitrogen (N), sulfur (S). Therefore, assessment microbial mangrove habitats, which suffer from different external environments, is necessary to evaluate unique ecological service functions. In present work, functional profiles four reserves (one sandy three muddy, Beibu Gulf, China) were detected by 16 s RNA gene amplicon-based Functional Annotation Procaryotic Taxa (FAPROTAX) analysis as well C, N, S q-PCR chips. The FAPROTAX showed that metabolic potential cycling indicated a difference regions. Moreover, some groups involved significantly correlated with physicochemical characteristics. However, genes chip did not same changes following variation environmental conditions those predicted analysis. Most equally distributed mangroves. Several N (amoA, amoB, nirK, nosZ), degradation (amyA, apu, mnp, lig, chiA), fixation (aclB), oxidation H2S (SoxY) higher sampling site Beihai City (Bei), was only soils. We hypothesized soil texture (sandy or muddy) rather than elements contributes more abundance S, C sediment. Our study demonstrated property easier modify genes. should pay attention redundancy microbiota when using microorganisms indicator access activity habitats.

Assessment of soil quality in different vegetation types wetland ecosystems is essential for functioning, such as nutrient cycling and growth, particularly the maintenance ecosystem sustainability. Wetland degradation can extremely influence quality. However, prediction terms index soils remains obscure. In this study with fundamental goal to assess quality, we have intended assemble a range indicators characterize (SQI). The minimum data set (MDS) from Principal component analysis (PCA) was used determine SQI. With objectives, three types: Robinia pseudoacacia community (tree), Tamarix chinensis (bush), Suaeda salsa (grass) were selected Yellow River Delta wetland, eastern China. A total 108 samples [3 sites (tree, bush grass)—3 field plots—3 replicates—4 depth layers: 0–10 cm, 10–20 20–40 40–60 cm] collected laboratory analyses. This showed that there high variations physical chemical properties among sites. Soil organic carbon (SOC), silt, clay, pH at tree site, porosity (TSP), pH, bulk density (SBD) electronic conductivity (SEC) grass site retained MDS. SOC TSP key indicators. values SQI cm all (2.236, 0.895, 2.573 respectively) highest compared other depths, indicating best upper layers (0–10 cm). both similar, they higher than those site. At decreased increasing depth, which indicated became worse depth. (0–40 cm), while increased better deeper (40–60 lower It concluded be more accurately based on its simplicity quantitative flexibility. These findings are importance because assessment allows quantify effects

Abstract Bioconversion of lignocellulosic biomass to biofuels such as bioethanol and high value-added products has attracted great interest in recent decades due the carbon neutral nature feedstock. However, there are still many key technical difficulties for industrial application bioconversion processes. One challenges associated with microorganism Saccharomyces cerevisiae that is usually used production refers inhibition yeast by various stress factors. These inhibitive effects seriously restrict growth fermentation performance strains, resulting reduced efficiency. Therefore, improving response ability strains significance bioethanol. In this article, mechanisms S. hydrolysate-derived factors including organic acids, furan aldehydes, phenolic compounds have been reviewed. Organic acids mainly stimulate cells induce intracellular acidification, aldehydes break redox balance, a greater effect on membrane homeostasis. damages lead inadequate energy supply dysregulation transcription translation processes, then activate series responses. Furthermore, genetic engineering strategies constructing multilevel defense eliminating order provide robust construction. Fossil fuels resources are continually running out due to the rapid rise in industrialization and outgrowth. Moreover, excessive utilization of fossil fuel has resulted release various toxic gases global warming. Hence, it necessitates demand explore for an inexhaustible, renewable eco-friendly energy sources. In this review, waste biomasses which abundantly available throughout world have been reviewed as a feedstock obtaining value added products i.e. bio-oil, biochar etc., using pyrolysis techniques. The is considered be most effective conversion technique three stage degradation mechanism observed leading production valuable hydrocarbons from decomposition hemicelluloses, cellulose lignin. bio-oil obtained if upgraded properly, served commercial use. study also reviews composition lignocellulosic biomass, techniques, pyrolytic products, upgradation biomass generation. This review suggests resource by converting value-added low-cost methods would ultimately lead overcome crises some extent.
