The pathogenesis of cancer is closely related to the disruption homeostasis in human body. gut microbiome plays crucial roles maintaining its host throughout lifespan. In recent years, a large number studies have shown that dysbiosis involved entire process initiation, development, and prognosis by influencing immune system metabolism. Some specific intestinal bacteria promote occurrence development cancers under certain conditions. Conversely, some other suppress oncogenesis progression cancers, including inhibiting delaying boosting therapeutic effect on cancers. promoting effects been comprehensively discussed previous review. This article will review latest advances mechanisms suppression, providing new perspective for developing strategies prevention treatment.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in digestive system worldwide, with its mortality ranking second among all cancers. Studies have indicated that disruptions circadian rhythm (CR) are associated occurrence various cancers; however, relationship between CR and CRC requires further evidence, research on application still limited. In this study, we employed both bulk single-cell RNA sequencing to explore dysregulation patients CRC. By constructing a subtype classifier, conducted an in-depth analysis prognostic significance, status tumor microenvironment, response immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy different clusters. Furthermore, developed scoring (CRS) using machine learning predict overall survival identified several genes as potential targets affecting prognosis. Our findings revealed significant alterations normal tissues transcriptome sequencing. Patients could be categorized into two distinct clusters (CR cluster 1 2). The prognosis 2, higher epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) angiogenesis scores, was significantly worser than 1. These exhibited levels tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. 2 notably proportion microsatellite-instability-high (MSI-H), potentially benefit from ICB therapy. belonging consensus molecular 4 (CMS4) also Additionally, CRS combined stage demonstrated superior prediction efficacy compared traditional stage. We link model (LSAMP, MS4A2, NAV3, RAB3B, SIX4) disruption patient This study not only provide new insights assessment but develop based CR-related genes, offering tool for personalized risk

Background: Gastrointestinal tract cancers represent a significant worldwide health concern, accounting for almost one-third of cancer-related deaths. The existing chemotherapy drugs used in gastrointestinal are ineffective, so prognosis is poor, recurrence and metastasis rates high, survival time remains short, necessitating the development novel antitumor that exhibit low toxicity less potential drug resistance. This challenge considerable, but evidence from past decades supports medicinal properties functionalities bioactive compounds such as flavonoids acid phenolics with anticancer activities. Our purpose was to find data on relationship between cancer Prunus species, focusing their molecular mechanisms action. Results: Studies highlight species modulate cell signaling pathways involved tumorigenesis. Conclusions: studies reviewed suggest polyphenols promising activities could an adjunctive therapeutic strategy treatment. Further necessary validate these compounds’ feasibility cost-effective treatments cancer.
