Objective: This case report aims to illustrate the effect of three different Korean medicines on hyperhidrosis scalp following a COVID-19 infection. Methods: The patient, who developed post-COVID-19, was treated with medicine. Symptom improvement evaluated using Hyperhidrosis Disease Severity Scale (HDSS) and Quality Life Index (HidroQoL), which includes patient feedback daily life activities psychosocial factors. Results: HDSS HidroQoL scores both decreased, indicating symptom after herbal medicine treatment. Conclusion: suggests that could provide symptomatic relief for associated long COVID-19. To achieve more definitive validation, additional studies objective measures are necessary.

The association between COVID-19 and heart failure (HF) presents multifaceted challenges implications for clinical management. This comprehensive review explores the epidemiological, clinical, mechanistic associations HF, emphasizing bidirectional impact of these conditions on patient outcomes. can precipitate or exacerbate HF through myocardial injury, inflammation, thrombosis, immune dysregulation, while pre-existing increases severity complications COVID-19. Diagnostic arise from overlapping symptoms need to differentiate COVID-19-related lung pathology manifestations. Understanding underlying pathophysiological mechanisms, including ACE2 cytokine release syndrome, hypercoagulability, is crucial optimizing management strategies. Early identification, multidisciplinary collaboration, personalized treatment, education are essential managing HF. Insights this inform practice, highlighting importance tailored interventions ongoing research mitigate complex interactions outcomes public health initiatives.

Unlike most attempts to find compounds with activity against SARS-CoV-2 aimed at reusing approved drugs, our goal was antiviral among the 1,2-dithioloquinoline derivatives we synthesized. These exhibit pleiotropic effects, having a novel structure compared known pharmaceuticals. In this work, diversified of by introducing various substituents (chlorine atom, ether, amide, sulfonamide groups, pharmacophore heterocycles) into different positions tricyclic framework. Using docking further quantum chemical post-processing calculations created virtual library 404 structures, more than ten aryl(4,4-dimethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-[1,2]dithiolo[3,4-c]quinoline-1-ylidene)amine series were discovered, synthesized and experimentally studied. The bioactive screening newly revealed that six them demonstrate suppression replication in Vero E6 cell culture micromolar range EC50 values (from 0.27 98.48 μM). best compound, which fragments dithioloquinoline streptocide are combined, demonstrated highest ability protect cells from = μM, as well low cytotoxicity selectivity index SI > 370, exceeding all reference used study (remdesivir, GC376, ML188).
