Severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has caused a great threat to human health. Metabolic associated fatty liver (MAFLD) is with high prevalence rate. Previous studies indicated that MAFLD led increased mortality and severe case rates of COVID-19 patients, but its mechanism remains unclear. This study analyzed the transcriptional profiles patients their respective healthy controls from perspectives bioinformatics systems biology explore underlying molecular mechanisms between 2 diseases. Specifically, gene expression were acquired omnibus datasets screened shared differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Gene ontology pathway function enrichment analysis performed for common DEGs reveal regulatory relationship Besides, hub extracted by constructing protein-protein interaction network DEGs. Based on these genes, we conducted microRNA/transcription factors-genes - predicted potential drugs treatment MAFLD.A total 3734 589 transcriptome data (GSE183229) (GSE196822), respectively, 80 identified MAFLD. Functional revealed involved in inflammatory reaction, immune response metabolic regulation. In addition, 10 including SERPINE1, IL1RN, THBS1, TNFAIP6, GADD45B, TNFRSF12A, PLA2G7, PTGES, PTX3 GADD45G identified. From analysis, 41 transcription factors 151 micro-RNAs found be signals. Some mental, Inflammatory, diseases most related genes. Importantly, parthenolide, luteolin, apigenin MS-275 have shown possibility as therapeutic agents against MAFLD.This reveals pathogenesis COVID-19, providing novel clues future research acute respiratory syndrome infection.

To date, COVID-19 remains a serious global public health problem. Vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 has been adopted by many countries as an effective coping strategy. The strength of the body's immune response in face viral infection correlates with number vaccinations and duration vaccination. In this study, we aimed to identify specific genes that may trigger control under different vaccination scenarios. A machine learning-based approach was designed analyze blood transcriptomes 161 individuals who were classified into six groups according dose timing inoculations, including I-D0, I-D2-4, I-D7 (day 0, days 2-4, day 7 after first ChAdOx1, respectively) II-D0, II-D1-4, II-D7-10 1-4, 7-10 second BNT162b2, respectively). Each sample represented expression levels 26,364 genes. whereas mainly BNT162b2 (Only four received ChAdOx1). deemed labels considered features. Several learning algorithms employed such classification detail, five feature ranking (Lasso, LightGBM, MCFS, mRMR, PFI) applied evaluate importance each gene feature, resulting lists. Then, lists put incremental selection method extract essential genes, rules build optimal classifiers. namely, NRF2, RPRD1B, NEU3, SMC5, TPX2, have previously associated response. This study also summarized describe scenarios help determine molecular mechanism vaccine-induced antiviral immunity.

Abstract: Syndecan-1 (SDC-1), known as a coreceptor of various growth factors or an integrin binding partner, regulates cell behaviours. Under certain pathological conditions, SDC-1 is shed from the surface and plays protective pathogenic role in diseases. In liver, highly expressed hepatocytes, where it localized on basolateral surface. It critical to cellular molecular functions including their attachment hepatitis viruses. Previous studies have reported that may function novel promising diagnostic therapeutic marker for liver diseases, such drug-induced injury, fibrosis, cancer. this review, we summarize related research highlight mechanisms by which participates pathogenesis well its potential applications. This review expected lay foundation further strategies target
