There is growing evidence on the involvement of oxidative stress, which simply described as imbalance between oxidants and antioxidants in favor former, development periodontal disease that most common inflammatory oral cavity. Thus, potential antioxidant phytochemicals adjunctively preventive therapeutic agents against initiation progression a topic great interest. The current review firstly aims to provide updated insights about immuno-inflammatory pathway regulated by stress pathology. Then, this work further presents systemic knowledge phytochemicals, particularly pharmacological activities, can be utilized prevention treatment disease. Additionally, challenges future prospects regarding such scope are figured out.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder with no clear causative event making the difficult to diagnose and treat. The pathological hallmarks of AD include amyloid plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, widespread neuronal loss. Amyloid-beta has been extensively studied targeted develop an effective disease-modifying therapy, but success rate in clinical practice minimal. Recently, neuroinflammation focused on as progression be for therapies. Various mechanistic pathways including cytokines chemokines, complement system, oxidative stress, cyclooxygenase are linked brain. Many cells microglia, astrocytes, oligodendrocytes work together protect brain from injury. This review better understand inflammatory immunoregulatory processes novel anti-inflammatory drugs slow down AD.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) represents the third type of in incidence and second mortality worldwide, with newly diagnosed case number on rise. Among patients, approximately 70% have no hereditary germ-line mutations or family history pathology, thus being termed sporadic CRC. Diet environmental factors are to date considered solely responsible for development CRC; therefore; attention should be directed towards discovery preventative actions combat CRC initiation, promotion, progression. Quercetin is a polyphenolic flavonoid plant secondary metabolite well-characterized antioxidant activity. It has been extensively reported as an anti-carcinogenic agent scientific literature, modulated targets quercetin also characterized context CRC, mainly original research publications. In this fairly comprehensive review, we summarize molecular vivo vitro models, while giving background information about signal transduction pathways that it up- downregulates. most relevant pathways, Wnt/β-catenin, PI3K/AKT, MAPK/Erk, JNK, p38, p53, NF-κB described. With work, hope encourage further quests elucidation activity single agent, dietary component, pharmaconutrient delivered form extracts.
