This study aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students' perceptions concerning both the benefits and limitations Artificial Intelligence (AI) in context critical thinking. Utilizing qualitative research design that focuses on case studies employs semi-structured interviews, seven master's degree students from two different Indonesian universities were purposively selected for sample. The findings revealed complex view thinking involves questioning norms, analyzing context, evaluating evidence. Students acknowledged AI's utility enriching various facets thinking, such academic theory scrutiny. Abstract This study aimed to investigate how AI impacts students’ intrinsic motivation and learning experiences in various cultural academic settings. An analysis of the effects AI-powered tools on enhancement was conducted early 2024. The recruited 455 students (192 males 263 females) from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Poland who were studying diverse majors educational faculties. While AI‐powered tools offer personalised learning experiences access to vast knowledge repositories, their successful implementation hinges on a nuanced understanding how learners' psychological cognitive processes interact within these dynamic environments. This study delved the intricate interplay between cognitive‐emotion regulation, critical thinking, academic resilience, motivation autonomy in cohort English as foreign language (EFL) learners engaged AI‐mediated learning. For this, sample 302 EFL was recruited using stratified random sampling method. data were analysed structural equation modelling confirmatory factor analysis through SMART PLS software.
