New ways of modernizing professional development programs (hereafter PDs) focus on the acquisition new teaching methods and techniques through hands-on opportunities provided to teachers, thereby enabling them practice reflect knowledge gained. Moreover, vision reform sustainability in education emphasizes sustainable PDs that resist disruptive factors, increase teachers’ commitment, ensure more across children’s lifespans. This study explores impact a piloted PD 16 teachers head attitudes about assessment practices, growth, leadership skills. Qualitative data collected form interviews, post-PD surveys, reflections were analyzed using thematic analysis approach. Findings indicate confidence creating assessments rubrics participants their different positions increased, ability provide students with engaging, sustainably developed improved higher-order thinking skills was also enhanced. The findings this demonstrated need develop within awareness they can individually contribute towards classroom learning environment. Although did make some changes classroom-based these could not be well-maintained as limited by high stakes involved varying structure mandatory required public sector. It is hoped used model for education.

The research aimed to analyse the mediating role of mindful attention awareness and cognitive flexibility in influencing self-esteem among pre-service teachers. A descriptive methodology was employed, a purposive sample three hundred (300) teachers selected from government, government-aided, private colleges Punjab region. study utilised Brown Ryan’s (2003) Mindful Attention Awareness Scale, Rosenberg’s (1965) Self-Esteem Dennis Vander Wal’s (2010) Cognitive Flexibility Inventory for data collection. Correlation analysis revealed moderate positive correlation between awareness, self-esteem, Furthermore, multiple regression indicated that collectively accounted 89% variance participants. Path demonstrated mediates relationship self-esteem. concludes by discussing educational implications, recommending teacher education programmes integrate mindfulness training support future educators’ psychological professional development. This integration could promote not only their well-being but also effectiveness diverse dynamic classroom environments.
