Abstract Introduction As college students navigate new developmental milestones, many families rely on digital technology to stay connected and aid in the transition adulthood. Digital location tracking apps allow for parental monitoring ways that may have implications youth development. Abstract Digital technology enables parents and adolescents to communicate anywhere anytime. Knowledge of parent–adolescent online communication, however, is mainly based on cross‐sectional studies. In this preregistered 100‐day diary study, 479 ( M age = 15.98, 54.9% girls; 96.9% Dutch) reported daily if they had communicated with their online, how long (i.e., duration), what discussed topics). Parent–adolescent communication took place 43% days, for an average 20 min a day, predominantly concerned micro‐coordination. Five profiles were identified, most (55.4%) communicating relatively infrequently briefly. Boys younger longer than girls older adolescents. Although contact possible all very few do so.

Parent communication can be protective against cannabis use among young adults. However, changes in parent-student frequency naturally occur during the transition from high school to college. Recent research suggests declines predict increased drinking and consequences first year of college, yet these effects on other risky behaviors are unknown. The current study investigated whether post-matriculation texting/calling with parents simultaneous alcohol, pre-matriculation communication. First-year students (N = 287, 61.3% female, 50.9% White) reported pre- (T1 & T3) their mother/father per day (T2). Negative binomial hurdle models examined T2 predicted T3 use, logistic regression T1 frequency. Results revealed that increasing (vs. decreasing) calling mothers texting fathers was whereas associated greater risk use. Changes did not significantly nor or either mode college transition. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran orang tua dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun. menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Partisipan penelitian adalah orangtua yang memiliki berusia tahun atau sedang menempuh pendidikan dibangku TK PAUD di Kampung Ketapang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sangat signifikan anak. Menurut temuan penelitian, penting membantu anak-anak mereka menjadi dewasa mandiri. 95% dikenal sebagai pembimbing, 97% motivator, 87% fasilitator, semuanya dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan mereka. Dalam indikator berkembang baik antaranya, kemampuan fisik sebesar 80% disiplin 80%. Kemampuan fisik, kepercayaan diri, keterampilan sosial, berbagi, rasa tanggung jawab, mengatur emosi semua tanda dari semakin berkembang. Orang aktif terlibat kegiatan sehari-hari anak, memberikan kesempatan kepada melakukan tugas-tugas sederhana, dukungan emosional, secara positif terhadap menyarankan agar lebih memahami pentingnya bagi terus mendukung perkembangan tersebut praktik-praktik konsisten bijaksana.
