AbstractIntroduction: LGBTQ+ youth experience significant mental health challenges, which were exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. This empirically explores experiences of during COVID and their participation in AFFIRM Online, a digital affirmative CBT intervention. Methods: Thematic analysis longitudinal qualitative questionnaires explored 184 waves 1–5 pandemic.Result: Three themes emerged: (a) Connecting with Community During Lockdown; (b) Fostering Calm Chaos; (c) Developing Hope Coping Skills for “Post-COVID” Future. The use of digital technology that supports daily activities has a positive impact on individual psychological well-being. However, the intensity online makes individuals face some risks, namely, content, contact, and conduct especially in adolescents. Video gaming is a popular youth pastime that has prompted scholarship into its relationship with psychological well-being. However, sexual and gender diverse (SGDY) who play video games are largely overlooked in this research. Inroduction Digital resilience is an important skill for adolescents in the digital age, but there a lack of valid and reliable assessment methods. This study aimed to develop validate questionnaire Chinese based on Resilience Framework proposed by UK Children’s Internet Safety Council Methods employed mixed research design, combining quantitative qualitative data collected analyzed. Over six-month period (January June 2023), was distributed 12,208 from 10 high schools 16 middle schools, with in-depth interviews performed participants. Results The revealed that levels are slightly higher than average (M = 3.5038 > 3.5), still potential development, particularly active learning. Additionally, variety characteristics influencing were discovered, including gender, family residency, whether they only children, grade level, number devices used per week, length hours spent online daily. Online gamers represent themselves virtually through their in-game avatar, providing opportunities for connection and self-expression. Prior research indicates associations between aspects of the user-avatar bond (UAB) more intensive gaming involvement. However, experiences may vary based on individual differences like sexual minority status (i.e. LGBTIQ+), warranting further investigation. Thus, present study examined whether UAB profiles varied heterosexual versus non-heterosexual gamers, to elucidate potential discrepancies in avatar engagement related orientation. The comprised an Australian community sample 488 players (48.2% women, 73.3% heterosexual, Mage = 31.6 years) Massive Multiplayer games.
