This study evaluates the impact of China’s carbon finance development on emission reduction and its role in promoting low-carbon economic growth. We construct an evaluation index system employ Systematic Cluster Analysis (SCA) Data Envelopment (DEA) methods to analyze markets five representative Chinese provinces (autonomous regions). Utilizing DEA-BCC model DEA-Malmquist index, we conducted in-depth analysis effects between 2022 2023. Our findings reveal that while significantly contributes reduction, there are considerable regional disparities effectiveness. Beijing Guangdong achieved DEA efficiency, whereas Jilin, Ningxia, Xinjiang experienced efficiency losses, suggesting a need for structural optimization. The provides insights into challenges potential improvements sector offers policy recommendations enhancing market mechanisms, technological innovation, social engagement support peak neutrality goals.

Existing research on the state transition process of ecological resilience (ER) has neglected ultimate goal enhancing well-being and lacks theoretical framework support. To address these issues, we have innovatively developed a three-dimensional analysis “resistant, absorptive, restorative capacity” to measure ER. We also explored regional unevenness factors influencing ER at provincial level in China through spatiotemporal evolution GeoDetector models. The results indicate that: Chinese provinces ranges from 0.415 0.596, with all falling into risk or good areas. Furthermore, fluctuating increasing trend is observed. eastern coastal provinces, such as Beijing Shandong, comprise predominantly areas that are distributed band manner, while western notably Xinjiang, primarily clustered pattern. per capita electricity consumption, GDP, patent applications high-tech industries identified primary heterogeneity resilience, interaction effects each factor synergistic enhancement effects. Spatial displays certain degrees “nonhomogeneous” agglomeration spatial heterogeneity. However, no apparent polarization phenomenon These findings provide valuable insights for cities aiming risks enhance urban resilience.
