Although improving the mental health of children and adolescents has become a global priority, resources outlining developmentally appropriate content for literacy (MHL) across school-aged are scarce. A comprehensive, life-course approach to building MHL is needed address evolving competencies, needs, capacities, risk factors health, especially establish school-based interventions that can be equitably sustainably implemented. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, mental health challenges among children and adolescents in South Korea have intensified with rising rates of depression suicide. Proactive interventions focusing on well-being are needed to address this critical issue. This study examines effectiveness Mindfulness-based Social–Emotional Growth (MSEG) program for enhancing elementary school students Korea. quasi-experimental evaluated impact MSEG at an Gyeonggi-do, A total 70 (35 from lower grades [grades 1–3] 35 upper 4–6]) participated 12-week intervention group, while 72 were control group. Pre- post-intervention assessments measured social–emotional, mindfulness, clinical domains. The findings revealed significant improvements emotional regulation across all grades. Abstract Introduction Adolescents’ Mental Healthcare (MHC) is influenced by numerous factors, and adolescents occasionally seek professional help for mental health (MH) issues. These factors become more complex within low-middle-income countries (LMICs); therefore, this study aims to understand barriers facilitators access services among aged 10 19 years old from the perspective of users (parents) providers (Mental Providers - MHPs). Method Using a qualitative exploratory design, semi-structured interview guide was developed using Andersen’s service utilization model. In-depth interviews were conducted with MHPs ( n = 21) parents 19) in psychiatry department public private hospitals Karachi, October—December 2021. Data thematically analyzed an inductive approach. Result The findings revealed consensus all three categories Andersen model referred compulsion as major driving force MHC rather than personal choices. Within pre-disposing, need, enabling factors; participants highlighted unique perspective; regarded frequent migration, daily wage loss, women’s societal status while need marriage patient willingness stated facilitators.
