University students are vulnerable to mental health issues during their academic lives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, university faced distress due lockdowns and transition e-learning. However, it is not known whether these were also affected specifically by COVID-19-related traumatic events. This study examined impact of events on 2277 from two federal institutions higher education in Brazil. The completed an online questionnaire covering demographics, lifestyle habits, characteristics, events, depression, anxiety, stress symptoms. results showed that increased intensity was positively associated with stress, depressive symptoms, each specific type event In addition, we found a negative association between symptoms male sex age positive having or had history cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, disorders another disease diagnosed physician. conclusion, this emphasizes heightened risk face Women, young people who have most pandemic.

Insight into the prevalence posttraumatic disorder its risk factors during will guide interventions to prevent development. Objective To determine (PTSD) among examine variations based on factors, such as sex, age, medical specialty, career stage. Data Sources A Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-analyses–compliant systematic review was conducted, searching MEDLINE, Embase, PsychInfo, from December 2019 November 2022. Search terms included MeSH (medical subject heading) keywords associated with population PTSD. Study Selection Peer-reviewed published studies reporting PTSD a probable diagnosis via validated questionnaires or clinician were included. reviewed by 6 reviewers. Abstract Since the first reported outbreak in China, Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) has raised serious concerns globally. The COVID‐19 pandemic caused a severe psychological impact on healthcare workers (HCWs), and especially nurses, who are most numerous exposed frontline group.
