Abstract Background Anxiety and postpartum depression are the most common psychological problems in women after delivery. Cognitive behavior intervention has been reported to have an effect therapy of depression. This research aimed investigate whether cognitive could prevent pathogenesis primiparous women. Methods In this randomized controlled trial, who were prone recruited. Participates control group received routine care those both intervention. Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), (HAMA), Edinburgh Postpartum (EPDS) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) evaluated before Results group, post-intervention scores HAMA, HAMD, EPDS PSQI all significantly lower than baseline ( p = 0.034, 0.038, 0.004, 0.014, respectively). The proportion participants with (11.5%) was (24.3%) 6-week Participants more satisfied 0.032). Conclusion provided evidence that behavioral period alleviate anxiety women, inhibit Trial registry clinical trial registered Chinese Clinical Registry (ChiCTR2000040076).
