Iron supplements are widely consumed. However, excess iron may accelerate intestinal tumorigenesis. To determine the effect of on tumor burden and protein expression changes between normal tissues, ApcMin/+ mice were fed control (adequate) (45 450 mg iron/kg diet, respectively; n = 9/group) for 10 wk. Tumor was measured, two-dimensional fluorescence difference gel electrophoresis used to identify differentially expressed proteins in tissues. There a significant increase (78.3%; p ≤ 0.05) (mm2/cm) with at wk 10. Of 980 analyzed spots, 69 (p isoforms identified, representing 55 genes. isoforms, 56 differed vs. tissues from adequate group 23 tumors iron. Biochemical pathway analysis found that supplementation modulated four highly functional networks. Abstract Oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) represents the most prevalent malignancy among head and neck carcinomas (HNSCCs). Standard treatment modalities include surgical resection combined with radiation chemotherapy. However, locoregional failure remains a critical issue affecting prognosis of OSCC patients, largely due to tumor resistance against or In this study, we established gene database related recurrence identified PSMA2 as novel molecule influencing in patients. An independent Taiwanese cohort confirmed that elevated transcript levels were associated poorer contributed chemo- radioresistance phenotype OSCC. Furthermore, regulates cycle, mitochondrial dysfunction, mitophagy, thereby contributing carcinogenesis resistance. Notably, mitophagy inducer exhibit antitumor effects PSMA2-overexpressing xenograft mouse model. Collectively, our results provide mechanistic understanding atypical function promoting recurrence.

Bladder cancer is one of the most common malignancies with high invasion and poor clinical outcome. Exosomes exert a vital role in tumor development, drug resistance, immunotherapy response. Based on datasets from TCGA, GSE13507, GSE31684, GSE32984 GSE48276, immune-related exosome signature (IES) was developed an integrative analysis procedure containing 10 machine learning methods. To investigate performance IES predicting benefit, three (GSE91061, GSE78220 IMvigor210) several scores were used. The RSF + Enet (alpha = 0.2) algorithm-based considered as optimal it had highest average C-index 0.75. presented powerful survival outcome bladder patients their AUC 1-, 3- 5-year ROC curve 0.711, 0.751 0.806 TCGA dataset. Ovarian cancer is the second most common malignant neoplasm of gynecological origin and leading cause death from in female reproductive system worldwide. This scenario largely due to late diagnoses, often advanced stages, development chemoresistance by cells. These challenges highlight need for alternative treatments, with immunotherapy being a promising option. Cancer involves triggering an anti-tumor immune response developing immunological memory eliminate cells, prevent recurrence, inhibit metastasis. Some ongoing research investigate potentially advancements field vaccines, checkpoint blockade, CAR-T cell, other strategies.
