Essential Oils (EOs) are a rich source of secondary metabolites that exhibit various biological activities. This study includes GCMS analysis Pinus roxburghii EO, computational investigation including drug likeness, ADMET properties, molecular docking, and in vitro evaluations for possible antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti-AGEs actions. identified β-pinene (30%) as major component, succeeded by caryophyllene (29.37%), o-xylene (8.98%), aromadendrine (8.29%), α-himachalene (6.82%). Molecular docking showed significant interaction transcription regulators 1JIJ with Caryophyllene oxide (ΔG -7.5 (kJ mol-1), 3TOP -6.8 mol-1) 4F5S -7.7 mol-1). The EO exhibited elevated phenolic content (26.3±0.45 mg/G GAE) considerable antioxidant capacity DPPH (14.2±0.62), H2O2 (73.3±1.7), FRAP assays (312±14.6 μg). antidiabetic demonstrated notable inhibition α-glucosidase (IC50 0.12 mg/mL) advanced glycation end products (AGEs) both non-oxidative 0.052 oxidative modes 1.61 mg/mL). During mechanistic investigations it was observed exerts protective effect against β-amyloid formation significantly entraps carbonyl moieties. It P. has properties these finding support good potential management diabetes allied co-morbidities. In future formulation design studies can be helpful pharmaceutical industry to opt the formulation.

Here, we investigated the antioxidant and nematicidal activities of aqueous leaf stem extract Chromolaena odorata (L.) (AECO) against Radopholus similis, a nematode pest banana plants. In vitro analysis involved testing AECO at concentrations ranging from 50 to 300 µg/mL in 2,2-diphenylpicrylhydrazyl (DPPH) 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) radical-scavenging assays. Both vivo experiments were performed using doses 780, 1,560, 3,120, 6,250, 12,500 mg DW/L AECO.We assessed egg hatching inhibition juvenile survival rate R. content compounds roots, dry weight aerial parts density soil.In assays revealed substantial DPPH-scavenging (59.67-92.13%)and ABTS radical (37.26% µg/mL) activities. In exhibited significant (p < 0.05) similis (26.98%, 55.25%, 82.92% 24, 48, 72 h, respectively) reduced 0.05).In demonstrated decrease malondialdehyde concentration an increase production (glutathione, catalase, superoxide dismutase) roots after treatment.Plant biomass showed differences 0.05), with highest values (15.38 ± 0.13 g part 29.32 0.15 root weight) recorded 12500 treatment.Notably, was significantly decreased soil treatment, maximum obtained mg/kg.These findings emphasize potential for management its relevance cultivation Cavendish bananas.
