We
offer
a
framework
for
the
design
and
use
of
Ambient
Smart
Environments
(ASEs)
preventive
mental
health
care
support.
Drawing
from
Complex
Systems
Theory
(CST)

that
ASEs
have
potential
to
act
in
capacity

good
health,

program

Science
Mental
Disorders'

Abstract
In
this
editorial
for
the
collection
on
complexity
in
mental
health
research,
we
introduce

summarize
inaugural
contributions
to
collection:
a
series
of
theoretical,
methodological,
empirical
papers
that
aim

forward

all
its
complexity.

from
these
contributions:
