Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections are on the rise, presenting a significant global health challenge. Mass Galla chinesis et camelliae Fermentata (Chinese gall leaven, CGL), traditional Chinese medicinal product made from fermentation of Rhus chinensis Mill., is frequently employed to address digestive system ailments. Contemporary pharmacological research reveals that CGL exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-diarrheal, and enzyme-inhibitory activities holds potential as treatment for H. infections. However, precise mechanisms underlying CGL's efficacy against remain be fully elucidated.
