Alzheimer’s disease, a highly prevalent form of dementia, targets neuron function beginning from the hippocampal region and expanding outwards. disease is caused by elevated levels heavy metals, such as lead, zinc, copper. Copper found in many areas daily life, raising concern to how this metal are related. Previous studies have not identified common pathways between excess copper etiology. Our review corroborates that both target hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, brainstem, affecting motor skills critical thinking. Additionally, Aβ plaque formation was analyzed synthesis at APP parent protein site until completed. Structural changes were also noted. Further analysis revealed relationship amyloid-beta plaques ion concentration. As increased, it bound monomer, expediting process, furthering neurodegeneration. These conclusions can be utilized medical community further research on etiology its relationships other metal-induced neurotoxicity.

Cuproptosis is a recently recognized modality of cell death driven by intracellular copper-dependent mitochondrial stress. However, the mediators sterile inflammatory response to cuproptotic are undetermined. Here, we report that high-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1), damage-associated molecular pattern, released cells initiate inflammation. Mechanically, copper accumulation-induced adenosine triphosphate (ATP) depletion activates AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) promote HMGB1 phosphorylation, resulting in increased extracellular release. In contrast, genetic (using RNAi) or pharmacologic dorsomorphin) inhibition AMPK activation limits cuproptosis and Functionally, ability HMGB1-deficient advanced glycosylation end product-specific receptor (AGER, also known as RAGE)-dependent cytokine production greatly reduced. Thus, key immune mediator cuproptosis-initiated

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common type of dementia that affects millions individuals worldwide. It an irreversible neurodegenerative disorder characterized by memory loss, impaired learning and thinking, difficulty in performing regular daily activities. Despite nearly two decades collective efforts to develop novel medications can prevent or halt progression, we remain faced with only a few options limited effectiveness. There has been recent growth interest role nutrition brain health as begin gain better understanding what how nutrients affect hormonal neural actions not lead typical cardiovascular metabolic diseases but also array neurological psychiatric disorders. Vitamins minerals, known micronutrients, are elements indispensable for functions including nutrient metabolism, immune surveillance, cell development, neurotransmission, antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties. In this review, provide overview on some vitamins minerals discuss current studies have revealed link between these essential micronutrients cognitive performance AD.
