Abstract Cancer, a prevalent and complex disease, presents significant challenge to the medical community. It is characterized by irregular cell differentiation, excessive proliferation, uncontrolled growth, invasion of nearby tissues, spread distant organs. Its progression involves interplay several elements processes. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) serve as critical intermediaries in intercellular communication, transporting molecules such lipids, RNA, membrane, cytoplasmic proteins between cells. They significantly contribute progression, development, dissemination primary tumors facilitating exchange information transmitting signals that regulate tumor growth metastasis. However, EVs do not have singular impact on cancer; instead, they play multifaceted dual role. Under specific circumstances, can impede influence cancer delivering oncogenic factors or triggering an immune response. Furthermore, from different sources demonstrate distinct advantages inhibiting cancer. This research examines biological characteristics their involvement development establish theoretical foundation for better understanding connection Here, we discuss potential various therapy, well current status future prospects engineered developing more effective treatments.

Abstract Extracellular vesicles (EVs) harbor several signaling molecules to maintain intercellular communication. Based on the exosomal cargo type, metabolic, genomic, and proteomic status of parent cells can be investigated. Due existence trivial levels target inside EVs, application accurate sensitive detection methods is mandatory. Here, we used an electrochemical immunosensor using a biotinylated monoclonal CD63 antibody as capturing element for EVs isolated from MDA-MB-231 cancer patients. Simultaneously, breast biomarker CA-15-3 was detected in sandwich method increase specificity. Data indicated linear dynamic range 2000–10000 EVs/µL lower limit quantification 2000 EVs/µL. data real sample analysis, differ according severity systemic content this factor. Pd-perovskite-based provides platform quick in-depth analysis cells.

Fucoxanthin, a dietary carotenoid, is predominantly found in edible brown algae and commonly consumed worldwide. Fucoxanthin has been shown to possess beneficial health activities such as antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, antimutagenic, antiobesity; however, the effects of fucoxanthin on VEGF-mediated angiogenesis its possible binding with VEGF are unknown. Here, different lines evidence supported suppressive roles angiogenesis. In human umbilical vein endothelial cells, remarkedly suppressed cell proliferative, migration, invasive abilities, well tube formation, without cytotoxicity. addition, inhibited subintestinal vessel formation zebrafish

Cancer cells-derived extracellular vesicles can trigger the transformation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSC) into a pro-inflammatory, cancer-associated adipocyte (CAA) phenotype. Such secretome-mediated crosstalk between adipose tissue and tumor microenvironment (TME) therefore impacts progression metastatic processes. In addition, emerging roles diet-derived phytochemicals, especially epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) among other polyphenols, in modulating exosome-mediated metabolic inflammatory signaling pathways have been highlighted. Here, we discuss how selected phytochemicals could alter secretome signature as well dynamics TME, with focus on breast cancer. Their broader implication chemoprevention obesity-related cancers is also discussed.
