The United States is one of the few countries, and only high-income country, that does not federally mandate protection postpartum employment through paid maternity family leave policies. SUMMARY OBJECTIVE: This study was conducted to determine the effect of postnatal breastfeeding education given women who had normal vaginal and cesarean delivery on self-efficacy success. Abstract SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19 disease are thought to have an impact on breastfeeding rate – besides other known peripartal issues. Data of the national CRONOS registry regarding behavior in 6,746 women was analyzed time window between maternal delivery. In addition, influencing factors like predominant viral variant, severity, gestational age at delivery were taken into account. Our data suggest that within variables analyzed, case acute (<14 days before birth), improved with increasing birth (p<0.0001), less severe illness (p<0.0001) as pandemic progressed virulent variants (p=0.01). When adjusting for COVID-19-associated non-associated factors, rooming-in remains most important factor positively behavior. Abstract Background The outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome 2 (SARS CoV-2) has worldwide panic in the global population taking people's lives, creating fear, and affecting mother–child relationships. Many questions were raised on dangers being infected with COVID-19 for newborns safety concerns during feeding COVID-19-positive mothers. Moreover, doubts about administration vaccinations nursing mothers are still open. This review attempts to fill existing literature gap exploring concepts concerning breastfeeding mothers, vaccinations, beneficial effects both mother child, important hygiene recommendations SARS-CoV-2 possible solutions optimize precautions amidst fear emergence novel variants. Methods All relevant publications from Google Scholar, PubMed, Web Science, Scopus search engines December 2019 October 2022 related SARS-CoV-2, breastfeeding, COVID-19, lactating guidelines, vaccination included using ‘Breastfeeding AND vaccine SARS-CoV-2’ as MESH TERMS. Exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months and continued with complementary foods up to 2 years are emphasized by World Health Organization. Amid COVID-19 pandemic, maternal concerns about virus transmission through have surfaced. Despite these concerns, remains primary recommendation due its manifold health benefits. This research, conducted in Tegal City's Margadana sub-district, investigates factors influencing exclusive success among mothers recovered from COVID-19. Using an analytical observational design a cross-sectional approach, study explores link between symptoms infants success, revealing significant correlation (p-value=0.042). Conversely, breast milk production shows no association (p-value=0.144). Notably, spousal family support emerges as pivotal, exhibiting (p-value=0.003). RESUMO Objetivo: Investigar as repercussões da COVID-19 na duração do aleitamento materno e analisar os fatores associados em Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Método: Trata-se de estudo epidemiológico, coorte prospectiva. Os dados foram coletados prontuários médicos por meio entrevistas telefônicas. As mulheres que apresentaram o desmame estimadas análise sobrevivência Kaplan-Meier. O teste log-rank foi utilizado para verificar diferenças entre grupos, analisando-se tempo desmame, segundo características sociodemográficas clínicas. valores hazard ratio intervalos confiança 95% estimados utilizando-se regressão Cox.
