Smartphone addiction (SA) refers to a behavioral disorder characterized by an irresistible compulsion excessively engage with mobile devices. Currently, the evidence regarding relationship between physical activity (PA), exercise intensity (EI), and SA is limited, particularly within Chinese populations. This study aims explore correlation PA, EI, SA, specifically investigating how PA EI impact better understand nature of this relationship. A cross-sectional was conducted involving college students from over 20 universities in Western China. Data were collected on participants' engagement SA. Additionally, covariates such as age, gender, ethnicity, academic classification, university location, discipline, year study, hometown region, sibling status, social interactions recorded. Introduction: The widespread use of the internet has resulted in both beneficial and detrimental effects on adolescents young adults globally. This systematic review meta-analysis aim to examine prevalence problematic (PIU) among Iranian following COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: We conducted a search using electronic databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, covering period from January 1, 2020, 2025. focused studies examining addiction students aged 13 - 18 years Iran coronavirus epidemic. Data these were analyzed methods, employing meta-prop command STATA-17, results reported with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). I-squared test was used identify heterogeneity between studies. Results: indicate that PIU post-COVID-19 pandemic is 31% (95% CI: 17% 45%). finding represents significant increase compared pre-pandemic High (I2 = 99.43%) observed studies, potentially due variations study populations, measurement tools, temporal changes throughout post-pandemic period. Conclusions: findings underscore urgent need for culturally tailored interventions address adolescents. Recommendations include developing effective prevention strategies, enhancing parental guidance, implementing educational programs promote healthy use.
