Although
the
research
has
demonstrated
that
outcome
expectations
influence
physical
activity,
precise
underlying
mechanisms
remain
ambiguous.
Therefore,
this
study
employed
a
cross-sectional
design
to
investigate
effect
of
on
activity
and
examine
roles
body
appreciation
health
status.
A
total
1349
participants
(Mage
=
19.42,
SD
1.51;
410
males,
939
females)
were
recruited
for
data
analyzed
using
combination
path
analysis

analysis.

Cardiovascular
diseases
(CVD)
are
among
the
leading
causes
of
morbidity
and
mortality
worldwide.
This
descriptive-correlational
cross-sectional
study
analyzed
relationship
between
lifestyle
factors
cardiovascular
parameters
in
206
university
students
from
University
Los
Lagos
post-COVID-19
context,
with
a
focus
on
gender
differences.
Indicators
such
as
body
mass
index,
waist
circumference,
blood
pressure,
glucose,
sedentary
behavior,
tobacco
alcohol
consumption,
sleep
quality,
self-reported
stress
were
assessed.
The
results
showed
higher
prevalence
abdominal
obesity
behavior
women,
whereas
men
presented
rates
hypertension
elevated
glucose.
While
consumption
did
not
differ
significantly
genders,
both
remain
relevant
risk
population.
Sleep
quality
correlated
various
genders.
These
findings
highlight
need
for
gender-specific
interventions
to
address
populations,
emphasizing
promotion
physical
activity
women
dietary
strategies
targeting
sodium
reduction
men.
Future
longitudinal
research
should
assess
whether
these
trends
persist
over
time
explore
effective
intervention
strategies.

Background:
Discretionary
foods

healthy
diet
