In this paper, we investigated the role of generative AI in education academic publications extracted from Web Science (3506 records; 2019–2024). The proposed methodology included three main streams: (1) Monthly analysis trends; top-ranking research areas, keywords and universities; frequency over time; a keyword co-occurrence map; collaboration networks; Sankey diagram illustrating relationship between AI-related terms, publication years areas; (2) Sentiment using custom list words, VADER TextBlob; (3) Topic modeling Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). Terms such as “artificial intelligence” “generative artificial were predominant, but they diverged evolved time. By 2024, applications had branched into specialized fields, including educational research, computer science, engineering, psychology, medical informatics, healthcare sciences, general medicine surgery. sentiment reveals growing optimism regarding education, with steady increase positive 2023 to while maintaining predominantly neutral tone. Five topics derived based on an most relevant terms by LDA: Gen-AI’s impact research; ChatGPT tool for university students teachers; Large language models (LLMs) prompting computing education; (4) Applications patient (5) ChatGPT’s performance examinations. identified several emerging topics: discipline-specific application LLMs, multimodal gen-AI, personalized learning, peer or tutor cross-cultural multilingual tools aimed at developing culturally content supporting teaching lesser-known languages. Further, gamification involves designing interactive storytelling adaptive games enhance engagement hybrid human–AI classrooms explore co-teaching dynamics, teacher–student relationships classroom authority.

The burgeoning field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) presents a new avenue for enhancing teaching and learning practices within higher education. While existing research has predominantly focused on GenAI's capabilities to perform specific educational tasks, its potential as an interactive agent engaging in human-like conversations forming connections remains underexplored. Drawing upon connectivist lens that recognizes occurs networks interactions, we investigate how GenAI tools can contribute social entrepreneurship Through qualitative interviews with multiple key stakeholder groups, this study reveals three dimensions dialogic spaces be enabled by GenAI: collaborative learning, knowledge connectivity, theory-practice integration. This makes several contributions. First, it expands current discussions AI education, moving beyond tool-based acceptance actively exploring active agent. Second, contributes the literature demonstrating not only interaction facilitators but also agents create interactions across different levels. Background Complex educational challenges emerge during Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertation research, yet many newly hired faculty receive little preparation for the role supervisor. Purpose The purpose of this research is to examine generative artificial intelligence (AI) user continuance intention based on the stimulus-organism-response model. Design/methodology/approach We adopted a mixed method structural equation modeling and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis conduct data analysis. Purpose This study explores key themes and changes in the perception of students' academic misconduct over last three decades. It also aims to identify underlying causes propose strategies mitigate honesty breaches higher education. Design/methodology/approach A systematic review was conducted following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses guidelines. Themes were derived from 69 studies published between 1988 2024 sourced Scopus Web Science databases. The methodology included a database search, use targeted search terms quality-based inclusion criteria. Findings Academic is shaped by various factors: cultural, institutional, psychological, social, economic, individual, leadership political. Cultural sensitivity training, community programs mentorship can address cultural factors. Institutional transparency, clear policies dedicated integrity offices improve enforcement. Psychological social challenges be mitigated through counseling, peer support fostering well-being. Financial aid, equitable resource access workload management tackle economic individual pressures. Generative artificial intelligence (GAI) technologies are gaining traction in higher education, offering potential benefits such as personalized learning support and enhanced productivity. However, successful integration requires understanding the factors influencing students’ adoption of these emerging tools. This study investigates determinants shaping education GAI through lens unified theory acceptance use technology 2 framework. Data was collected from Pyatigorsk State University students analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings reveal habit (HB) most influential predictor among students, followed by performance expectancy. Hedonic motivation, social influence (SI), price value positively influenced behavioral intention (BI) to technologies. Surprisingly, facilitating conditions (FCs) exhibited a negative effect on BI, suggesting gaps systems. identifies no significant gender differences underlying driving adoption. Based results, recommendations provided foster HB formation, communicate benefits, enhance hedonic appeal, leverage SI, address concerns, strengthen FCs. Potential limitations include cross-sectional nature data, geographic constraints, reliance self-reported measures, lack consideration for individual moderators. research contributes growing body knowledge educational contexts, insights guide institutions responsibly integrating innovative tools while addressing student needs promoting improved outcomes.
