We examine the potential of ChatGPT, a large language model, in predicting stock market returns using sentiment analysis news headlines. use ChatGPT to indicate whether given headline is good, bad, or irrelevant for firms' prices. then compute numerical score and document positive correlation between these "ChatGPT scores" subsequent daily returns. Further, outperforms traditional methods. Our results suggest that incorporating advanced models into investment decision-making process can yield more accurate predictions enhance performance quantitative trading strategies.

The public release of ChatGPT in November 2022 brought excitement and concerns regarding students' use language models higher education. However, little research has empirically investigated intention to adopt ChatGPT. This study developed a theoretical model based on the Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT) with an additional construct- anxiety, investigate university adoption two education contexts– UK Nepal. 239 226 questionnaires were deemed sufficient for data analysis Nepal UK, respectively. We utilised structural equation modelling technique test hypotheses. Our results reveal that performance expectancy, effort expectancy social influence significantly impacted both countries. anxiety's impact varied between UK. Integrating UTAUT cross-country comparative approach provides insights into how ChatGPT's reception diverges different contexts. also have implications technology companies aiming expand models' availability worldwide.

Deep learning provides powerful methods to impute structured information from large-scale, unstructured text and image datasets. For example, economists might wish detect the presence of economic activity in satellite images or measure topics entities mentioned social media, congressional record, firm filings. This review introduces deep neural networks, covering such as classifiers, regression models, generative artificial intelligence (AI), embedding models. Applications include classification, document digitization, record linkage, for data exploration massive-scale corpora. When suitable are used, models can be cheap tune scale affordably problems involving millions billions points.
