Sperm cryopreservation intensifies the use of assisted reproductive technologies in food animals. However, variations freezability confront frozen-thawed semen applications. Hence, this groundwork aimed to identify fundamental differences between high (HF) and low (LF) ejaculated spermatozoa swamp buffaloes, which were limitedly described for agricultural species. Twelve (12) different samples bubaline collected, cryopreserved categorized into phenotypes using post-thaw sperm motility as basis. kinematics functional plasma membrane integrity evaluated HF LF computer-assisted analysis (CASA) hypo-osmotic swelling test, respectively. The relative concentrations some selected proteins namely ATPase subunit beta 1 (ATP1B1) glutathione S-transferase Mu 3 (GSTM3) also comparatively quantified dot blot image processing analyses. results revealed that all CASA parameters except wobble straightness significantly higher than cluster (P<0.05). Moreover, exhibited more intact membranes under a state group there was no significant difference abundance ATP1B1 GSTM3 among phenotypes, suggesting other related energy production oxidative stress protection influence cryoresilience. Nevertheless, these findings reaffirmed existence variabilities outcomes buffaloes established key terms motility, integrity.

Cryopreservation is a technique that offers various advantages, especially in fish, among others, makes the reproduction of species easier through constant supply sperm, synchronization gamete availability both sexes, storage semen for genetic improvement programs, reduction cost by eliminating need to maintain male broodstock, and conserving gametes endangered species. However, freezing warming procedures cryopreservation lead quality viability cryopreserved sperm because oxidative stress. For this reason, enrichment extender media with antioxidants common method several fish Recently, many studies have been published protective role melatonin on fertility preservation farm animals humans, demonstrating beneficial effects as cryoprotectant. On other hand, very few were conducted using an antioxidant different cryopreservation. We conclude use moderate concentrations are preservation, mechanisms which acts positively spermatozoa be further investigated establish protocols

Preservation of human spermatozoa in vitro at normothermia or hypothermia maintaining their functions and fertility for several days plays a significant role reproductive biology medicine. However, it is well known that left deteriorate over time irreversibly as the consequence various stresses such change osmolarity, energy deficiency, oxidative damage, leading to substantial limitations including need semen examinations, preservation, assisted technology. These problems may be addressed with aid non-freezing storage techniques. The main most effective preservation strategies are partial total replacement seminal plasma culture medium, named extenders, temperature-induced metabolic restriction. Semen extenders consist buffers, osmolytes, antioxidants, etc. protect against above-mentioned adverse factors. Extended has negative effect on sperm parameters, whereas its ART outcomes remains inconsistent. duration, temperature, pre-treatment should determined according aims preservation. Advanced techniques nanotechnology omics have been introduced show great potential lifespan extension sperm. It certain more patients will benefit from near future. This review provided an overview current knowledge prospects prolonged vitro.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between concentration of some fatty acids in seminal plasma and semen characteristics Holstein bulls with different sperm freezabilities. The straws that cryopreserved for two years were divided into three groups according sperm’s freezability: medium (MF,73.02%), good (GF,83.76%), high (HF,91.20%). cell individual motility (SCIM) fresh superior (P≤0.05) MF GF as compared HF bulls. Concomitantly, significantly those total acid concentrations. Moreover, recorded lesser DNA damage percentage differences among concentrations SCIM at 48 hours post-cryopreservation lacked significance. In conclusion, greater bull's lowest freezability, which indicated more sensitivity freezing conditions may reflect fertilizing ability these

Conserving and improving the quality of breeds is crucial for enhancing small ruminant production in Vietnam. To support this purpose, cryopreservation was offered as a promising method semen preservation maintaining genetic diversity. Moreover, many small-scale farmers Mekong Delta rely on goats both income nutrition, making them an important part farming activities. This study aimed to develop sperm protocol identify optimal cryoprotectant goat region Semen samples were diluted with TCG-EggYolk freezing medium containing agent (CPA) 1:1 ratio. The then placed 0.5 mL French straws, cooled 15 °C 5 °C, subjected nitrogen vapor before being immersed liquid at -196 °C. Experiment 1 utilized Glycerol CPA concentrations 0 %, 8 11 %. 2 employed dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) same concentrations. Thawed evaluated quality. Results indicated that 1, increasing concentration improved overall motility, viability, membrane integrity sperm. best outcomes achieved % Glycerol, resulting progressive motility 57.5 (P<0.05). In 2, extender DMSO demonstrated significantly better performance terms compared or DMSO. Progressive 53.5 conclusion, determined using choice

Relevant biomarkers identified seminal plasma spermatozoa were highlighted, including lipids, proteins, metabolites, transcripts, genes. Specific mechanisms concerning structures functions also examined relative their association cryotolerance, spermiogram or seminogram modifications following procedures.
