We report a passive mode-locked fiber laser that can realize single-wavelength tuning and multi-wavelength spacing simultaneously. The range is from 1528 nm–1560 nm, up to three bands of soliton states be output at the same time. These results are confirmed by nonlinear Schrödinger equation model based on split-step Fourier method. In addition, we reveal way transform state into Q-switched state, which period doubling. will promote development optical communication, sensing multi-signal pulse emission.

We study the supercontinuum (SC) generation from a passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser (ML-EDFL) using two different samples of monolayer graphene saturable absorber (SA) onto side-polished surface D-shaped fiber, characterized with 98% and 65% polarization dependent loss (PDL), respectively. By first PDL SA (setup-1), output pulse spectral profile 11.6 nm bandwidth was obtained ML-EDFL subsequently amplified an amplifier (EDFA) to pump 2-m highly nonlinear (HNLF) 5-m ZBLAN lengths, both fibers operating at normal dispersion regime, which resulted in individual SC 350 245 nm, Furthermore, EDFA spectrally by observing their blue shift central wavelength, reaching value 6.9 12 dB due gain. With second (setup-2), we could generate 227 351 bandwidths 0.5 2 m HNLF Because setups were on state input pulse, optimized setup-2 external controller (PC), allowed us adjust brightness broadening SC.

We proposed an erbium-doped fiber laser mode-locked with a Mo x W 1- Te 2 -based nonlinear optical modulator for the first time to our best knowledge. This can deliver bright pulses, bright-dark pulse pairs, dark bright-dark-bright and dark-dark-bright pulses. The modulation depth saturation intensity of saturable absorber were about 7.8% 8.6 MW/cm , respectively. When 10% in cavity was output, conventional soliton pulses central wavelength 1560.1 nm be obtained cavity. 70% dual-wavelength domain-wall appeared experiment revealed that appropriate increase ratio output energy improve chance lasers. mode-locking states this evolve each other between pairs by adjusting polarization controller. results indicated used make modulators generating Furthermore, work will great help generation

Abstract Controlling the physicochemical features of chromium sesquioxide α -Cr 2 O 3 (chromia) films is essential to widening their utilization. This work investigates influence heat treatment (HT) and La doping on physical characteristics chromia spin-deposited glass. X-ray diffraction/Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy field-emission transmission electron microscopy techniques reveal that crystallinity, size, modes vibration in (eskolaite phase) can be tuned by HT doping. MXenes are a class of two-dimensional layered structure ternary metal carbide or/and nitride materials. Recently, the MXene V2CTx has demonstrated excellent long-term stability, strong saturable absorption, and fast optical-switching capability, used to generate Q-switched ultrashort pulsed lasers. However, bound-state fiber lasers based on have not been reported yet. In this study, is combined with D-shaped form absorber device, whose modulation depth measured be 1.6%. By inserting into an Er-doped laser, bound states different soliton separation munbers successfully obtained. Additionally, compound structure, such as (2 + 2)- 1)-type, also realized. Our findings show that can developed efficient ultrafast photonics candidate further understand complex nonlinear dynamics pulses in
