Background: Polypharmacy, defined as the simultaneous use of multiple medications by a patient, is worldwide problem rising prevalence. Paving way for drug interactions, adverse reactions and non-adherence, it leads to negative health outcomes, increased healthcare services costs. Since closely related multimorbidity, peaks in older adults. So far, not many polypharmacy management programs elderly have been introduced practice. However, due rapid ageing European societies, there an urgent need implement them more widely. Objective: The aim this study was benchmark available Europe creating dedicated benchmarking application. Methods: It cross-sectional based on online survey targeting professionals other stakeholders across countries. Data collected were reused design Results: As 911 respondents from all but two EU countries took part study. Out participants, 496 (54.4%) reported availability various activities or formal that known them. These had goals, which improved patient safety indicated most common objective (65.1% cases). typical settings such primary care (49.4%), with pharmacists doctors being often those providing (61.7% 35.5% cases, respectively). Vast majority applied diverse forms reviews. identified assessed against four predefined dimensions effectiveness, applicability, scalability cost-effectiveness. lowest scores obtained within last these categories, unavailability relevant data. Based results, application constructed. allows comparing individual program ones, particularly, national context. Higher entrepreneurial traits significantly increase the likelihood of graduate students venturing into entrepreneurship. This study intended to develop a scale for assessing students, recognizing gap in existing literature and measurement tools predominantly developed countries with conducive climates. Aligned Ajzen's theory planned behavior, employed modified Delphi method, including prototype development, two surveys, subsequent statistical analyses. The robustness final items effectively capturing is supported by descriptive analyses (SD ≤ 1.5, Interquartile Range ≤1, Level Agreement ≥70%), content validity analysis (I-CVI≥ 0.8, S-CVI/Ave = 0.92; S-CVI/UA 0.4), Kendall's Coefficient Concordance (X2 (37, N 30) 700.504, W 0.631, p < 0.01). Ultimately, comprises 38 organized three overarching thematic areas: life philosophy, creating utilizing mindset, supportive motivating environment. Consistent literature, are intricately linked individuals' perspectives, often characterized desire self-autonomy. Additionally, ability create or leverage available resources presence external environment emerge as pivotal dimensions traits. Notably, highlights critical influence country's policies, mainly through university courses short-term programs, shaping development

Challenges posed by demographic changes and population aging are key priorities for the Horizon 2020 Program of European Commission. Aligned with vision Innovation Partnership on Active Healthy Ageing (EIP AHA), development, exchange, large-scale adoption innovative good practices is a element responses required to ensure all citizens remain as active healthy possible they age. Urged need developing scalable disruptive innovation across Europe, Commission EIP AHA created Reference Sites; local coalition partners that develop support AHA. Ageing@Coimbra an example how this can be achieved at regional level. The consortium comprises over 70 institutions in Portugal. network stakeholders build holistic ecosystem health social care, taking into consideration specificities territories, living environments cultural resources (2,243,934 inhabitants, 530,423 aged 65 or plus live Centre Region Portugal). Good reducing burden brain diseases affect cognition memory impairment older people tackling isolation urban rural areas among top Ageing@Coimbra. Profiting from collaborative work academia, business companies, civil society, authorities, quadruple helix supports: early diagnosis frailty disease; care cure; active, assisted, independent living. This paper describes, Community Case Study, creation Site AHA, Ageing@Coimbra, its impact motivate other regions formulas federate networks, building consortia growing movement, inspired concept replication practices; creating new Sites benefit Citizens.

Shared book reading in preschool settings plays an influential role supporting children’s oral language and emergent literacy skills. Early childhood teachers can provide high-quality shared experiences using extratextual utterances (reading beyond the story text) to maximise these learning outcomes. We report on development psychometric properties of ‘Emergent Literacy Language Childhood Checklist for Teachers’ (ELLECCT) tool, a comprehensive observational checklist designed document early teachers’ strategies during reading. The ELLECCT measures dialogic prompts, vocabulary promotion strategies, responsive statements, print knowledge phonological awareness. also contains rating scale examining paralinguistic nonverbal used by support engagement interactions. were measured four-phase process. Content validity was tested Validity Index three-round Delphi process measure face validity. Both intra-rater inter-rater reliability evaluated from sample 32 observations. study findings preliminary evidence ELLECCT, such that it is judged as suitable evaluation use while engaged describe ELLECCT’s potential application both classroom coaching training, research skill-development

The stomach-derived octanoylated peptide ghrelin was discovered in 1999 and recognized as an endogenous agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR). Subsequently, has been shown to play key roles controlling not only secretion, but also a variety other physiological functions including, limited to, food intake, reward-related behaviors, glucose homeostasis gastrointestinal tract motility. Importantly, non-acylated form ghrelin, desacyl-ghrelin, can be detected biological samples. Desacyl-ghrelin, however, does bind GHSR at levels, its role remained less well-characterized than that ghrelin. Ghrelin desacyl-ghrelin are currently referred literature using many different terms, highlighting need for consistent nomenclature. variability terms used designate lead confusion, miscommunication, especially those who familiar with literature. Thus, we conducted survey among experts have contributed aiming identify whether consensus may reached. Based on results this consensus, propose "ghrelin" "desacyl-ghrelin" refer itself form, respectively. further "GHSR" receptor, "LEAP2" liver-expressed antimicrobial 2, recently antagonist/inverse agonist.
