Mindfulness along with cognitive factors such as metacognition, rumination, and emotion regulation profoundly impact individual mental health well‐being. The primary goal of this study is to understand the global research trends in mindfulness, health, provide a bird’s eye view carried out so far, which provides strong foundation for future research. Bibliometric analysis was using VOS viewer RStudio software, publication data extracted from Scopus database. COVID‐19 pandemic triggered researchers focus more on health‐related issues. Developed nations contributed significantly most bibliometric indicators. In developed countries, well‐being emphasizes key determinants extensively than developing countries. Significant gaps are identified “Mental Health,” “Well‐Being,” “Metacognition.” A significant share activity concentrated European region. Developing need improve their collaborations keeping potential possibility improvement Human Development Index (HDI) achieving Sustainable Goal 3, thereby contributing “Good Health” “Well‐Being” at level.

Background. Psychological distress is a progressive health problem that has been linked to decreased quality of life among university students. This meta-analysis reviews existing randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have examined the effects mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) on relief psychosomatic stress-related outcomes and Methods. The PubMed, EMBASE, Web Science, PsycINFO (formerly PsychLit), Ovid MEDLINE, ERIC, Scopus, Google Scholar, ProQuest, Cochrane Library databases were searched in November 2023 identify RCTs for analysis. Data pathology (anxiety, depression, perceived stress), physical capacity (sleep health), well-being (mindfulness, self-kindness, social function, subjective well-being) analyzed. Results. Of 276 articles retrieved, 29 met inclusion criteria. Compared with control therapies, pooled results suggested MBSR had significant effects, reducing anxiety (SMD = −0.29; 95% CI: −0.49 −0.09), depression −0.32; −0.62 −0.02), −0.41; −0.60 −0.29) improving mindfulness 0.34; 0.08 0.59), self-kindness 0.57; 0.30 1.12), −0.59; −1.14 −0.04). Conclusions. therapy appears be potentially useful relieving functional emotional disorders. However, additional evidence-based large-sample are required definitively determine forms may effective this context ensure benefits obtained ongoing. Future studies should investigate more personalized approaches involving interventions tailored various barriers students’ clinical characteristics. To optimize such interventions, they developed evaluated using designs as multiphase optimization strategy, which allows identification tailoring most valuable intervention components.

Effects of online contemplative practices, especially partner-based on psychological well-being remain mixed, with sparse understanding potential affective-cognitive mechanisms. The study aimed to assess the efficacy two interventions in improving depression, anxiety, emotion regulation (ER), and resilience, evaluate mechanistic role negative attention interpretation biases. Employing a randomized controlled design (n = 285), we compared 10-week mindfulness-based socio-emotional dyadic interventions, both supported by weekly coaching sessions. Mental health aspects were assessed using validated self-report measures biases mouse-contingent Scrambled Sentences Task. Both waitlist control, led reductions depression ER difficulties, while trait anxiety decreased only after mindfulness training. Increases multidimensional resilience observed training stress recovery training, control. Socio-emotional significant bias this mediated anxiety. Neither state or bias. subclinical nature overrepresentation females sample limits generalizability. Findings indicate that sessions, can reduce difficulties. Though practice reduced enhanced recovery, increased resilience. bias, which emerged as an intervention-specific mechanism. These findings highlight benefits intervention approaches for well-being.

To date, no veteran study has validated these measures on a treatment-seeking sample veterans outside the DoD VA. Methods We used ( N = 493) to validate assess constructs (PTSD Checklist 5, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7). Loneliness has become a pressing topic, especially among young adults and during the COVID-19 pandemic. In randomized controlled trial with 253 healthy adults, we evaluated differential efficacy of two 10-week app-delivered mental training programs: one based on classic mindfulness an innovative partner-based socio-emotional practice (Affect Dyad). We show that resulted in greater reductions loneliness than mindfulness-based training. This effect was shown three measures loneliness: general assessed 20-item UCLA Scale, state queried over 8-day ecological momentary assessment participants' daily lives, ratings required before after practice. Our study provides evidence for higher approach 12 min conducted partner reducing novel, scalable online to reduce increasing problem society.

Over the past two decades, fields of social and contemplative neurosciences have made significant strides. Initial research utilizing fMRI identified neuronal networks involved in empathy, mentalizing, compassion, as well complex interactions among these networks. Subsequent studies shifted to testing plasticity skills via different types mindfulness- or compassion-based mental training programs, demonstrating brain plasticity, enhanced capacities motivation, improved health overall well-being. Next, researchers developed scalable evidence-based online programs address growing levels problems loneliness, both exacerbated by COVID-19 pandemic. Innovative approaches, such novel relational partner-based practices app-based dyadic offer solutions counteract ongoing societal deterioration. Current are now applying above findings support resilience building within diverse domains society professional populations-such healthcare workers teachers-at high risk burn-out. Future should explore broader impact training-related individual changes on larger systems, potentially leading development a translational neuroscience approach that leverages insights from needs, thereby enhancing resilience, health, cohesion.

Contemplative trainings have been found to effectively improve social skills such as empathy and compassion. However, there is a lack of research on the efficacy app-delivered mindfulness-based dyadic practices in boosting socioaffective capacity. The first aim this study was compare novel app-delivered, partner-based socioemotional intervention (Affect Dyad) with training foster compassion for self or others. The second investigate underlying mechanisms these effects. This randomized controlled trial included interventions waitlist control group, which received after postintervention assessment.
