Optokinetic reflex (OKR) assays in zebrafish models are a valuable tool for studying diverse range of ophthalmological and neurological conditions. Despite its increasing popularity recent years, there no clear reporting guidelines the assay. Following research enhances reproducibility, reduces bias, mitigates underreporting poor methodologies published works. To better understand optimal standards an OKR assay zebrafish, we performed systematic literature review exploring animal, environmental, technical factors that should be considered. Using search criteria from three online databases, total 109 papers were selected review.
