Climate change is profoundly reshaping the behavior, physiology, and distribution of insect vectors, with significant implications for vector-borne disease transmission. Rising temperatures, shifting precipitation patterns, extreme weather events are driving behavioral adaptations such as altered host-seeking modified resting site preferences, extended seasonal activity. Concurrently, vectors exhibit physiological plasticity, including enhanced thermal tolerance, desiccation resistance, accelerated reproductive cycles, which contribute to increased survival vector competence. This review synthesizes current research on climate-driven in major focusing their epidemiological consequences public health interventions. A systematic literature was conducted using scientific databases assess impact climate adaptation. Studies examining temperature-induced shifts, modifications, changes competence were analyzed identify emerging trends knowledge gaps. Findings indicate that increasing efficiency transmission, enabling geographic expansion populations prolonging transmission seasons. These challenge existing control strategies, necessitating innovative approaches genetic engineering, microbiome-based interventions, climate-informed surveillance systems. Given accelerating change, there an urgent need adaptive, evidence-based strategies mitigate growing threat diseases enhance global resilience.

Floods represent a significant threat to the livelihoods of individuals and pose challenges global development prospects. An individual’s age is an essential predictor for adopting flood preparedness measures. In this context, present study aims identify community resilience based on age. Two groups were considered analysis, i.e., young group (age less than 24 years) adult over years), using Flood Resilience Index (FRI) approach through five dimensions resilience, natural, physical, economic, social, institutional. The data analysis included 200 respondents, with each compromise equaling 100 from both groups. A total 34 structured questions analyzed FRI dimensions. survey results show that overall in low, but adults are relatively more flood-resilient group. Moreover, all differences between two groups, appearing resilient shows local authorities protection bodies should focus community’s youth regarding risks flooding.

Intermittent fasting practices, recommended as a potential nutritional approach against obesity and metabolic diseases, have become increasingly widespread in recent years. Although convincing data on the anti-obesity cardio-metabolic benefits of intermittent are obtained mostly from experimental studies, religious traditional practices been among treatment methods applied for human health centuries. Both may be promising strategy weight loss improving well combating pandemic. In this context, addition to proven clinical review suggested that can one important cornerstones an integrative approach, it is religious, traditional, widely known method worldwide. It is revealed that despite increase indicators water, situation for countries remains extremely difficult, due fact more than 20% still uses only unsafe sources. critical persists Madagascar, DR Congo, CAR, Chad, Angola, where a third does not have water. limitation sources hinders passage epidemiological transition by population: most region, proportion deaths diseases exceeds chronic non-communicable injuries, which indicates incompleteness second stage transition. associated with use almost 3 times higher global average.

The issue of climate change has been at the forefront a number nongovernmental environmental organisations, such as Greenpeace and its national branches, for instance, Africa (Pandey, 2015). Located in Johannesburg South Africa, (further – GA) aims “to bring forth solutions which are essential to green peaceful future” (Greenpeace 2024). One major foci GA’s campaigns future involves change. To-date, however, little is known about how GA frames communication, especially on Social Networking Sites (SNSs), Facebook. present study seeks fill current gap scholarship by collecting analysing corpus Facebook status updates order shed light onto this under-researched issue. In study, analysed qualitatively means applying framing methodology (Entman, 1993, 2004, 2007, 2010). results analysis have revealed that communication further discussed article.
