are globally distributed, marine parasitic nematodes that can cause human health problems, including symptoms such as vomiting, acute diarrhea, and allergic reactions. As primarily affect the patient's digestive tract, intestinal helminths interact directly with host microbiota through physical contact, chemicals, or nutrient competition. It is widely accepted plays a crucial role in regulation of immunity.

Summary The current study assessed the efficacy of Acyclovir (ACV) and Ivermectin (IVM) as monotherapies combined treatments for intestinal muscular stages Trichinella spiralis infection. One-hundred Swiss albino mice received orally 250 ± 50 infectious larvae were divided into infected-untreated (Group-1), IVM-treated (Group-2), ACV-treated (Group-3), IVM+ACV (Group-4), healthy controls (Group-5). Each group was subdivided subgroup-A-enteric phase (10 mice, sacrificed day-7 p.i.) subgroup-B-muscular day-35 p.i.). Survival rate body weight recorded. Parasite burden histopathology assessed. In addition, immunohistochemical expression epithelial CDX2 in CyclinD1 well CD34 evaluated. Compared, IVM ACV showed insignificant differences amelioration enteric histopathology, except lymphocytic counts. muscle phase, variable disruptions encapsulated larvae. Compared with monotherapies, treatment performed relatively better improvement inflammation reduction parasite burden. positively correlated burden, while a negative correlation. CyclinD1. negatively +ACV significantly ameliorated CDX2, CyclinD1, expressions compared monotherapies. Conclusion. T. infection-associated induced expressions, whereas reduced. molecular tumorigenic effect nematode remains questionable. Nevertheless, appeared to be promising anthelminthic anti-inflammatory combination that, parallel, rectified expressions.
