Abstract Breast cancer (BC) has a prevalence rate of 21.8% among Saudi women and ranks as the third leading cause death in Western nations. Nanotechnology offers innovative methods for targeted BC therapy, this study explores use single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) delivering senna leaf extract. The evaluated effects increasing dosages extract conjugated to SWCNTs on MCF-7 cells. Cell viability was assessed using MTT assay, while Giemsa staining revealed morphological changes. Additionally, comet assay agarose gel electrophoresis were employed evaluate pro-apoptotic potential. potential mitochondrial membrane production reactive oxygen species (ROS) investigated JC-1 dye. results indicated that treated cells exhibited apoptotic characteristics, including elevated ROS levels decreased In summary, application nanotechnology deliver shows promise herbal treatment BC, suggesting breakthrough combating widespread deadly disease.

Abstract An essential research area for scientists is the development of high-performing, inexpensive, non-toxic antibacterial materials that prevent transfer bacteria. In this study, pure Bi 2 WO 6 and /MWCNTs nanocomposite were prepared by hydrothermal method. A series characterization results using XRD FTIR, Raman, FESEM, TEM, EDS analyses, reveal formation orthorhombic nanoflakes addition NaOH pH adjustment to 7. One of the most important goals current research in medical field is to identify treatments for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and cancer. The latest developments nanotechnology have provided opportunities develop novel nanomaterials that can overcome limitations treatments. In this regard, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are considered potential nano-tools with attractive implications. analysis MTZ/SWCNT/AgNPs study was done using different techniques, including SEM, TEM, FTIR, XRD, EDX. Antibacterial activity assessed MTN/SWCNT/AgNPs against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus. effects MTZ/SWCNTs/AgNPs on mitochondrial apoptotic activities human gastric cancer (AGS) were evaluated. Overall, new CNTs produced efficiently. efficient antibacterial anticancer agents biological applications.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative caused by the progressive deposition of extracellular amyloid beta (Aβ) and intracellular neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs). Of note, metabolic disorders such as insulin resistance (IR) type 2 diabetes (T2D) are associated with development brain IR neurodegeneration. In addition, AD neuropathology linked cognitive impairment accelerate peripheral progression T2D. Therefore, there bidirectional relationship between T2D AD. It has been demonstrated that induce dysregulation peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α) leading to central disturbances. Hence, dysregulated PPAR-α could be shared mechanism in both T2D, restoration signalling agonist fenofibrate (FN) may alleviate this review aims shed light on potential involvement AD, how FN effective management seems dual neuroprotective antidiabetic effects can mitigate T2D-related complications modulating various cellular processes inflammatory pathways. conclusion, possible candidate different pathways involved pathogenesis these conditions.
