The
usability
of

pine
(Pinus
nigra
Arnold)
in
both
monitoring
the
changes
concentrations
silver

selenium

antimony

investigated.

heavy
metals

environments
have

pollution.
This
study
aimed
determine
proper
tree
species
that
can
be
used
monitor
reduce
contamination.
For
this
aim,
studies
were
conducted
on
Tilia
tomentosa,
Robinia
pseudoacacia,
Cedrus
atlantica,
Pseudotsuga
menziesii,
Fraxinus
excelsior
growing
Düzce,
which
among
5
contaminated
European
towns
according
World
Air
Pollution
report.
Samples
taken
from
these
trees
examined,
changes
concentration
depending
species,
organs,
compass
direction,
age
range
60
years
evaluated.
Results
indicated
higher
pollution
recent
years,
consistent
with
traffic
density,
but
there
was
no
effect
direction.
It
also
determined
appropriate
for
screening
airborne
decreasing
pseudoacacia
atlantica.
