In China, preschool teachers significantly influence the development of young children aged 3–6 years. Understanding their mental health and its associated factors is imperative to informing policies, optimizing well-being, supporting job performance. This study aimed investigate contributing anxiety symptoms among teachers. A sample 393 Chinese (279 women, 114 men), 21–56, completed online questionnaires collecting sociodemographic work-related information assessing symptoms, interpersonal difficulties, personality traits, perceived stress, resilience, inner strength. Pearson correlation multiple linear regression analyses identified significant predictors symptoms. The prevalence studied cohort was found be 12.2%. Statistically that positively correlated with included objective stress (B = 0.149, p < 0.001), difficulties 0.921, 0.108, neuroticism 0.071, 0.002). These findings highlight urgent need for measures reduce anxiety. However, when negative were included, effect positive psychological became nullified.
