Patients with depression were shown to be at increased risk of herpes zoster (HZ). However, an in-depth description as a factor for HZ, postherpetic neuralgia (PHN), and HZ recurrence is lacking. The goal this study was quantify the PHN, in people among depression-related subgroups Germany. Using health insurance claims data from 2012 2021 large German database, ≥ 18 years old diagnosed identified matched control persons without using rolling cohort design. Incidence rates (cases per 1000 person-years [PYs]) incidence rate ratios (IRRs) calculated Poisson models. Abstract Objective: In 2020, the emergence of Covid-19, rapidly evolves into a global pandemic. The government has put in place measures and recommendations to limit spread virus. Some studies have focused on effects lockdown social distancing Emergency Department (ED) attendance. Our hypothesis is that number visits vary with incidence. Methods: We designed multicentric, observational, retrospective study between May 13, 3, 2021. All patients over 18 years old from 8 ED were included, excluding inter-hospital transfers. Demographic variables, reasons for use, discharge diagnosis destination extracted electronic files. A visit was considered covid-like (CL) if one use fever, cough or dyspnea. Reasons grouped by specialty subgroup analysis. compared entries according Covid incidence rate using Spearman’s correlation coefficient adjusted governmental measures. Results: 237,888 49 49.3% men enrolled. Covid-19 0.22 (p=0.131). 0.24 (p=0.454) during lockdown, 0.157 (p=0.467) unlockdown, 0.832 (p<0.0001) curfew. attendance 0.83 CL 0.02 (p=0.880) non-Covid-like (NCL) reasons. Only respiratory miscellaneous reasons, where are classified (dyspnea, fever), significant moderate (respectively r=0,86, p<0,0001 r=0,53, p<0,0001). diagnoses infectious pathologies relation r=0,68, r=0,91, p<0,0001) an increase hospitalizations ward units (r=0,69, There any intensive care units’ admission. Conclusion: does not highlight link NCL use. seem be good indicator predicting visits.
