Abstract Background Students' music self‐concept and emotions are becoming prominent topics within the area of education. Aims, Samples Methods The majority previous research on has examined two constructs independently focused gender differences in externalizing behaviours learning, but neglected internal interactions between individual emotions. Network analysis is a promising method for visually examining as part network to identify core features interrelationships among nodes network. In this study, 515 students majoring from Chinese university were recruited. Career choice has received significant attention in recent years, with research indicating a strong correlation between individual intrinsic motivations and career decisions. This study investigated the factors influencing music graduates’ decisions to pursue professional Fujian, China, using Exploratory Design method. design involved two phases. In phase one, were explored through interviews seeking obtain qualitative information (N = 18). two, codes derived from utilized build Likert scale for quantitative questionnaire 221). The results revealed that choices intrinsically influenced by their commitment profession, sense of self-worth successful performing teaching experiences, self-purpose sharing music, interest playing teaching, confidence music-playing skills, working relationship teacher student. These variables confirmed have an impact on choice. Commitment profession was most influential variable, followed self-worth. Confidence skills least variable. findings deepen our understanding impacting majors’ job choices. Understanding these determinants can help educational institutions, policymakers, counselors better understand particular needs concerns, leading more supportive pathways aspiring musicians region.

Instruction In both subjects, music and sport, the engagement with subject content – learning an instrument or training in a sports club usually begins early childhood. This makes these subjects special similar. It is therefore of interest to examine motivation for choosing sport as university study. Methods present investigation, 151 students at beginning their studies were examined. Among 110 Bachelor Music (B.Mus.) teacher education program, 41 Science (B.Sc.) program. The study contained custom-made questionnaire on sociodemographic data, questions choice alternatives biographical musical sporting background, well two standardized questionnaires enrollment (STUWA) aspects that are important profession. Results rather high similar level intrinsic subjects.
