Results: Telemedicine linked higher prescription rates for both conditions, levels antibiotics use, longer durations. Patients who had an initial consultation were more likely have within 1 day. Conversely, those inclined use their early second There no significant differences ED or ICU admissions, except a slight increase GW conditions. Conclusion: can effectively complement conditions without compromising patient safety, suggesting its potential broader integration into care. However, various barriers, such professionals’ insufficient technological skills and competencies, can hinder its effective implementation. Scholars have examined readiness future physicians, with some studies exploring their before or during crisis. There is, however, noteable gap literature concerning post-pandemic period. This study aims to identify gaps current medical education programs by examining two primary aspects: (1) technical (encompassing general health-related competencies) (2) behavioural readiness, which includes prior experiences intentions related telemedicine implementation among students residents. Methods A cross-sectional was conducted using web-based questionnaire administered residents at major Northern Italian university. survey responses were analyzed ascertain whether distributions varied across demographic variables gender level education. Results most commonly owned laptops smartphones, smartphones perceived easiest use, while desktop computers presented more challenges. Approximately 38% respondents expressed apprehension about applying health information decision-making processes. lack both personal academic experience, only 16% having used university setting. Despite this, 83% participants desire for training telemedicine, 81% open experimenting it journey. Moreover, 76% interest incorporating into clinical practice.
