Abstract Introduction Artificial Intelligence (AI) has witnessed significant growth in the field of medicine, leveraging machine learning, artificial neuron networks, and large language models. Abstract Background Stigma has emerged as a prominent public health challenge in the 2022–2024 global mpox outbreak, impeding outbreak control efforts and well-being of affected individuals. Addressing stigma is priority for improving infection prevention control. Despite its frequent mention policy discourse, robust assessment lacking. This study investigated causes, manifestations, impacts mpox-related United Kingdom (UK). Methods We conducted an online, mixed-methods cross-sectional survey to assess stigma. developed content validated new tool, Survey Community-based Assessment New Re-emerging outbreaks (Stigma-SCANR) this purpose. LGTBIQ+ communities, especially those extensive sexual networks, were particularly affected. Objective We aim to characterize knowledge, risk perceptions, attitudes, willingness implement preventive measures against among LGBTIQ+ communities Colombia. Methods This an anonymized, cross-sectional, observational study based on a population-based online questionnaire using participatory approach. Results Among 784 participants from 66 municipalities, 49.1% aged 18–29 years, 89.3% male assigned at birth. A total of 73.9% identified as homosexual, while 14.9% never condoms. Casual partners by 45.4% past year (median: 3; range: 1–100), 29.3% engaged group sex during same period 4; 2–100). Temporary behavioral changes reduce risk, such limiting increasing condom use, 24.1%. Suspected or confirmed infection 4% participants, 77.4% attributing potential exposure contact. Notably, 89.5% expressed receive vaccination if offered. Conclusions Our findings demonstrate importance academic social communities’ cross-collaboration understand impact this population basis for planning epidemic responses future outbreaks America.
