Background: The purpose of this study was to examine how the COVID-19 pandemic influenced patterns, distribution, and circumstances dental trauma (DT) cases at a German cranio-maxillofacial center. Materials Methods: This retrospective analysis compared DT from PreCovid (PC) period (February 2019–January 2020) with those IntraCovid (IC) 2020–January 2021). It included an examination baseline characteristics, types DT, leading treatment approaches applied. Results: In IC period, there increase in number significant uncomplicated crown fractures, crown–root subluxations, avulsions, alveolar combined tooth fractures dislocations, concomitant soft tissue injuries. There were no differences regarding location DT. During reduction sports accidents, road traffic interpersonal violence, alcohol-related Simultaneously, marked falls, syncopal episodes, home incidents occurring on weekdays. Furthermore, during increased morning decreased nighttime. Conclusions: significantly affected approaches, under which occurred. Investigating these impacts can help predict effects future and/or maxillofacial possibly reduce through establishing appropriate preventive measures.

The study provides an overview of innovative digital solutions to meet the evolving needs drug safety monitoring and improve patient outcomes, focusing on implementing applications enhance additional risk-minimization measures (aRMMs) for pharmacovigilance. Over last decade, literature has highlighted a critical unmet need improving efficiency accuracy adverse event reporting. This is crucial identifying risks not observed during clinical trials. Digital tools offer potential benefits by providing real-time reporting, comprehensive data, increased engagement, thus addressing challenges underreporting incomplete data in scoping review identified current global practices evaluated feasibility adopting such locally. findings suggest as mobile applications, web-based platforms, electronic health record integrations are effective mechanisms collection real-world patient-reported engagement terms surveillance. These address significant inherent traditional systems, fragmentation. Integrating into pharmacovigilance can significantly timeliness reliability supporting more informed regulatory decision-making ultimately outcomes.

Background/Objectives: Healthcare professionals (HCPs) hold significant influence over public attitudes toward vaccinations. Studies suggest that HCPs are hesitant towards the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines. This hesitancy could lead to lower vaccination rates in community. Therefore, this scoping review aimed assess extent of COVID-19 booster doses among and identify associated factors. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted PubMed Scopus databases from April August 2024, using keywords related COVID-19, vaccine hesitancy, HCPs, vaccination. had been peer-reviewed, published English after 2022, focused on dose were included. Out 6703 studies screened, 24 Results: Most have received their initial series However, there is a rate uptake for doses, with ranging 12% 66.5%. Hesitancy varied significantly across continents, Asia, Africa, Europe 19.7% 66.5%, 27% 46.1%, 14% 60.2%, respectively. reported be influenced by various factors, including concerns about safety, necessity, effectiveness these In addition, regarding also found factors like age, gender, profession, previous COVID-19. Physicians, nurses, pharmacists exhibited 12.8% 43.7%, 26% 37%, 34.6%, Conclusions: Our underscores receiving countries around world explores underlying These findings provide valuable insights design future pandemic programs.
